Daisy's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Palatine Township

This place is dangerous! I can't stop going there! I seem to always look for excuses to drive by the place so I can stop in. Sometimes I get a second ice cream float after the first one! Needless to say, the ice cream and sodas in a bottle are delicious! Brian, the owner, is very helpful with suggesting different ice cream/soda float combos for me. The other employees are helpful and seem nice also. I'm not the only one who likes this place as I usually go on Monday nights close to closing at around 10 pm and I always find people there. On a Monday? Around 10 pm? In the middle of winter? And I thought I was the only crazy one! The place is a small quaint corner shop with 50's style decor. I even like the music they play with The Beatles and The Beach Boys or more modern music which I think is from a satellite radio coffee house station. On par with Oberwiess if not better plus the service seems more mom and pop and personable than the big chain shops. Makes me wanna go there again just...

I was there when an altercation occurred between a Daisy’s Employee and a Customer. The employee refused to let a little Hispanic girl use the bathroom. Which is completely understandable, as it seems it could be for employees only. Moments later 3 little white girls came in and were allowed to use the bathroom. Even if it wasn’t a race issue, it definitely looked that way. So I am backing the customer on this one, very disgusting reply to that customer who left a review. Daisy’s should highly consider training their employees better so they can all understand the bathroom policies. I will no longer be supporting Daisy’s. I highly reccomend BlissBerry or DQ right down the road. Both are better. PS - Please remove my dog...

You used to be able to buy QT sized ice cream and now you can only buy tiny pints for the same price. They also don't know what a new York egg creme is and the old owner Brian? Brad? used to make them for me with high quality chocolate syrup and seltzer. Very disappointing coming back into town after a year and realizing that your ice cream place changed hands. Won't be coming back, time to find a new place.
