Hot Pockets Sports Bar — Restaurant in Palatine Township

We love hot pockets!! My husband and I go 1x a week to play pool and watch a game here and there. We love the ambience and music. It’s a good mix of people, but more on the younger side. (Something I think palatine needs more of). Pool is a decent price and tvs are everywhere so everyone has a good view. They have trivia on Mondays which was pretty good too. Some things that could be a bit better - some of the food is worth it. We like their tacos, quesadillas, nachos, fries which are all amazing. Salads could be better if they had more than 1 dressing option (ranch) and the flatbread was meh. Wings were small.

They operate VERY LEAN on staff. Poor girls are running around having to service the entire bar and pool area depending on the hour, so your wait time between drinks is definitely longer especially if you are playing pool. The servers are working as best they can though but it becomes physically impossible with the limited staff. One of the girls started recognizing us which we appreciate since we are there all the time. Kianna (sp?) is great, she even recognized us when we were at the chili cookoff when we came up to the hot pockets table which I thought was a nice touch!

Great bar with new pool tables and darts! The food is really good too. Tried the sampler app, lobster rolls, Greek style wings, and a bacon bbq burger. The sampler appetizer plate was smaller than expected but had a little bit of everything. Lobster rolls were excellent, It was two small lobster rolls with warm liquid butter and fries on the side. The burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. The seasoned fries here are seasoned and cooked to perfection and served very hot. We didn't enjoy the Greek style wings. They were cooked and brought out in a bowl with broth/oil and French bread for soaking up the broth. It was not my style of wings, and I didn't enjoy the flavor at all. The wings had a very herby taste to them and too much broth in the bowl. It is not a traditional way of cooking and serving wings. Just be mindful of that when ordering thd greek wings. Also, in the pictures online of the greek wings, it shows them dry(lightly sauced) with feta cheese, but what we got served was completely different. (Oily brothy wings in a bowl) Our server Nancy was amazing and took great care of us. We enjoyed the atmosphere and can't wait to come back to try...

I recently visited Hot Pockets Sport Bar and had a great time. It's a sports bar with lots of TVs and nicely maintained pool tables. There are plenty of tables available (11 of them), so we didn't have to wait to get a table. The tables are in good condition and there are plenty of rooms between the tables which made for a pleasant playing experience.

It has a relaxing soprts bar vibe, and it seems to attract people of all age groups in the neighborhood. Whether you're a sports fan, a pool enthusiast, or simply looking for a place to unwind after a long day, you'll find a comfortable spot here.

Hot Pockets Sport Bar has a decent list of beers, which is always a plus for a sports bar. However, I did find it a bit challenging to find the type of beer that I like. It would be helpful if they had a more extensive beer menu or provided recommendations based on customers' preferences.

In terms of pricing, I found the cost of both the pool games and drinks to be reasonable.
