Starbucks — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I was so disappointed by my last 2 visits. First time they didn't use my rewards as I asked, charged my card instead. Second time, had NO idea what the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher was (2 clerks, one manager) and chewed me out, lecturing me, "You know, not all districts have the same drinks!"!

When I paid, the cashier did use my rewards, then told me I still owed .80 (cents). Clearly, the register showed "Balance -.80" which was an 80 cent balance on my card, which was not relevant. She still insisted I "owed her" 80 cents despite my using rewards to purchase a normal drink. (I have 8,000, more than enough.) The "manager"(?) looked over, "Why is everyone looking at me? Maybe they're expired? I don't know!". No, they're not, they were earned on the VISA & don't expire. He was rude. I put my credit card in & it would not take anything because obviously (to me, only) I did NOT owe the 80 cents.

I asked what they wanted me to do so I could just leave, already. They all kept shrugging. I left, still the only one who understood what was going on.

To top it off, my drink was almost completely ice and no drink. Have a nice day, right? Sadly, this store is convenient....

I give 5 stars for the girls there! So polite and kind! Love them all! I come to this location only for them and I like how they make my coffee!

I give to the Maintenance Team! Shame on you for not attending immediately to repair the coffee machine , recently it broke and was more than a week ! Today is the oven, and they told me Friday , I know it’s not going to be Friday! So disappointing , those girls are there to work and make money / tips , not stay in the cold and turn down customers because the maintenance team can’t figure it out fast! maybe the Maintenance department can compensate if they can’t afford a fast response!
