Sushi Togo 36 — Restaurant in Palatine Township

This review has been a long time coming!

Sushi To Go has only been open for a short time, as they took over for another Sushi restaurant that previously existed in the same location. We have frequented this spot since the doors opened, and will be coming back for as long as we're in the area!

Can't say enough great things about this place. The ingredients are always fresh, the menu is wide-ranging and unique, and the customer service might be the best I've ever encountered!

This place is a hidden gem. It's not much to look at but dont be fooled! The sushi is fresh and delicious. I ordered a seaweed salad, salmon roll, and a dragon roll on my last trip. The seaweed salad is a bit small, but very tasty. It comes garnished with sesame seeds. The salmon roll was fresh and better quality than other places in this area. The dragon roll had a perfect balance of roll, sauce and eel. Generally I do not like to order eel because it is very easy to screw up but this roll was perfect. I will add pictures on another trip. I used to work at a Sushi restaurant in Algonquin so I have pretty high standards, which weren't met by sushi to-go. The area where you order was clean, and you could see into the kitchen which is always a plus. Sushi quality was sub-par and un-aesthetically pleasing, but you get what you pay for, can't beat that price. Comparable to Jewel or Woodmans Sushi. The girl up front was cute tho so I'll probably be back lol.
