Let me first say- I am not one to leave bad reviews for something petty, ever.
I have given 5 star reviews for places that I have gone to before that have messed up my orders- forgot to take pickles off of a sandwich, never gave me the sauce that I asked for, forgot my drink, things like that...
Mostly for 2 reasons: #1- The food was good, the service was quick and good, and if there was an error it was quickly and politely handled by the staff. #2- I've worked in many different fields, so I'm very understanding as to what a lot of employees have to deal with. And yes, I have worked in both the fast food and the customer service industries before... So believe me, I understand what these employees have to deal with on a daily basis... I get it, I really do.
So with that being said, this is by far THE WORST DUNKIN DONUTS I have ever been to in my life. The next review has nothing to do with the food. This is about the service.
I literally sat in the drivethru for 20+ min until I decided "Okay, well this line obviously isn't moving any time soon, and there's no one inside waiting, so I'll just park out front and go in instead..." Figuring that by time I got my order ( one cup of coffee) and got back to my car this line would probably still be here.
So I parked my car, went inside, and... well...
..... I honestly would love to say that I got quick service, a great cup of coffee, and left with a smile on my face... but that would be so far from the truth.... Because sadly, not only did I never get my coffee, but I never got any service either.
I went inside... only to stand at the counter for ANOTHER almost 20 minutes, and the whole time I was standing there, not one employee bothered to say a single word to me...
Not even a simple- "We'll be right with you" Not a "Hold on for a minute, were really busy." Not a "Sorry, but it's gonna be just a few minutes."
.....Nothing.
And believe me, it's not that they didn't see me, they walked right past me, several of them glanced right at me... and not once person said a word. And I wasn't the only one being ignored at that! They had a line of cars piling up in the drive-thru, all the way around the building that wasn't moving one bit.
Meanwhile, the entire time the employees were just in there joking around, laughing, carrying on, yelling back and forth to each other from the front counter to the back area, etc.
I mean I was literally in awww at this point. And tbh, I was pissed. Not just for myself, but for the line of people waiting outside that had absolutely why they were waiting so long.
I don't think I have ever once, in my entire 36 years on this planet, walked into an establishment that serves food or drinks and stood there at the counter with no one else in front of or behind me and not had a single employee say anything to me ...
FOR ALMOST 20 MINUTES!
Especially not at Dunkin.
I've always had nothing but great experiences with Dunkin Donuts, and not just one, any, in many different cities, and states.
So I just absolutely could not believe the way this ridiculously rude, lazy and completely oblivious staff were behaving.
Sadly, I will never return to this place. It has been added to my list of Terrible Service...
Read moreI am so sad that this place has gone downhill so badly. Stopping here used to be like a ritual. Ever since it aquired a new owner, all of the quality employees kept leaving until now there are none left. Now it is always new people, they always make the wrong thing, and I don't think they could make a proportioned drink if their life depended on it. I would hate to see the outcome of some of them trying to follow the instructions for mac n cheese or ramen noodles. A coffee isn't that difficult to at least make decent. I've seen an employee working the window while having a cell phone conversation. I've seen an employee with fingernails that looked like she was digging in her yard before work. They routinely substitute milk for cream and either say nothing or... think it's the same thing? I wouldn't be surprised.... It's just awful. The products themselves save the place, when they can actually get the order right, and then make it even semi-sensical. Every once in a while I'll gamble and see if they can nail both, just because the drinks are yummy and I miss them. I wish Ms. Meyers and the old crew would come back. Shame on the new owner for destroying one of the few nice cozy creature comforts this town had that we could always count on to be delish and consistent...
Read moreIt seems like nobody knows what's going on at this location. The first time I came in, they couldn't make any food. Couldn't get à real answer as to if the machine was broken or nobody knew how, so we just walked out. Next visit I come in and order two smoked vanilla cold brews. The person taking the order at the register was playing some game with his hands to touch the buttons taking extremely long to take my order and then get it into the computer. A little ways down the counter there is a mobile pick up box where two iced coffees were just put in there. I didn't know if it was for me or mobile pickup for someone which I would assume because the sign says so. The employee didn't acknowledge anything when they were done to make sure the customer got their order. Just plopped it in there. I waited and then read the label to find out they were my iced coffee but without the sweet foam or sugar. As I'm looking at it weird a third employee actually asks if everything is ok and I explained there is supposed to be sweet cream and sugar on top. She went to it but now the coffee was so full that I was shorted out on the amount of cream it should have. Will definitely just pass by this location anytime I'm in the...
