The drive-thru line was so slow the evening we went recently that it took 20 minutes and I was the 5th car in line. There were a couple more in line in front of me originally but they eventually pulled out of line and left. When we got to the speaker to order, the menu board was dark, so if you didn't know what their menu items were about all you could do is just order a burger. The day before that I was driving from Chicago to Palatka and pulled into a Wendy's in Adel, Tennessee. I went inside to order and it took about 15 minutes to get 2 burgers even though there were just a few customers inside.. They blamed it on the long drive-thru line but the line wasn't that long and I pointed out that McDonald's deals with heavier lines than that constantly.
I don't care much for Wendy's food which is why I very rarely visit any Wendy's. This was really not very appetizing. I think we got double cheeseburgers with bacon and they were edible but not really very good. We got our dog a plain single in Adel and he ate it, but threw it all up a couple hours later. Maybe that's why he turned his nose up at this Wendy's the next day.
What kind of hamburger meat is it that a dog...

Upon arrival, the self-service ordering screen was visibly filthy—similar to the mess left when a baby feeds themselves in a highchair. The floor was sticky to the point that every step felt as though I was pulling my feet out of quicksand.
While waiting to order, I noticed the ice machine was out of order. The employee behind the counter was handing out cups of ice manually, and at one point, I saw a cup being handed to a young customer that had visible dirt around its rim.
I placed my order for a 10-piece nugget meal, a medium fry (freshly made), and a drink with no ice. On my way back to my table, I realized the fries were not fresh and the nuggets were cold.
The combination of unsanitary conditions, poorly prepared food, and lack of attention to basic customer service was unacceptable. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and disappointed, which is especially disheartening given my long-standing...
