Jocelyn's Donuts — Restaurant in Palestine

I would say Jocelyn's makes the best doughnuts in all of Palestine, as when you taste them, they have the lightest texture and they're not too doughy or too thick; they don't hit you like a brick when you eat them (doesn't matter which ones I've had, from glazed to cake or glazed/filled). You can tell how popular a spot they are just to check them out around 7-8 am each day, as there will be a line into the parking lot just to get the doughnuts and coffees here! I can also say that although I have a slight gluten sensitivity, this is the only place in town where I get the smallest reaction. That means that however they make their doughnuts, they make them fresh and with good quality ingredients.

Cody will remember your name after a few visits and he's always super helpful. Christina is equally so and sweet also. Aside from their doughnuts, I would recommend their cold brew coffee and I've noticed their pigs in the blanket and breakfast burritos are always super popular with customers ordering in the morning.

First off, Everything about this place is good except the price. I asked for a dozen donuts and they told me a price, I asked if it mattered what I got and they said no.. I picked 12 Christmas themed donuts they had in the case. Gave them my card and that was it. I seen when I got home it was nearly $30 for a dozen donuts . I even called because I thought for sure someone screwed up. Their donuts are good but not laced with flakes of gold to justify being $30.. Just basic donuts with frosting on top. I understand this is my fault for getting complacent and not paying attention at the register but make sure you know their prices on the board are not accurate. I personally won't return just...

BEWARE!! If you are trying to mind your weight or if you are diabetic I advise you to stay away! Not only are Jocelyn's treats heaven sent and delicious.. they are ADDICTING! Before you know it you'll be shelling out money because you have a serious problem and you can't get enough of the heavenly morsels that come out of this kitchen! If you do decide to indulge in this wicked establishment, grab yourself a coffee or a peach smoothie with the many assorted, yummy delights she has to offer.. you'll wish you hadn't!
