Revising my two year old review. My mother (RIP) and I had been ordering from Chopstick House about once a month for years. I've bought Beef Lo Mein just about every time. Friday May 8th 2020 will be the last time I order from them. My Lo Mein had what tasted like twice the garlic it usually did. There was literally more than a ¼ inch of grease in the bottom of the container. When I ordered and asked if they'd be willing to take three steps to bring it to my car (I'm disabled) they argued between themselves before agreeing. I called to complain, the guy who answered said that's how they always make it. Not true. Then, he sat there in dead silence until I said "I guess this is where I hang up." No offer to make things right or a refund. My stomach is killing me. Keep my $9 guys I hope it was worth losing a long term customer over. Edit 2 - Made the mistake of believing a neighbor who said they'd changed for the better. Ordered two meals, one for tonight, one for tomorrow. Had a General Tso's platter. I realize it's impossible to keep chicken crunchy while covered in sauce but the order came nearly half an hour early and the General Tso's was mushy, spongy, the coating was just falling off. It tasted okay and the heat level was good but it was unappetizing. Definitely the very last time...
Read moreThe people over the phone were extremely rude when I tried to explain to them that they had my order incorrect. They argued with me then on top of it they didn’t put any fortune cookies in our bag no Cutlery or paper towels and they said that if you want fortune cookies you have to ask for them in advanced. Please tell me anybody who’s ever ordered takeout from Chinese food if you had to request for them to put napkins, cutlery and fortune cookies in the bag because at this particular restaurant if you don’t they will not give it to you because it’s delivery if I could give them no stars I would especially since I just spent $62 Dollars on my dinner and their prices that are on their menu are not the same. It is seven years old and they have not updated their...
Read moreThis place was absolutely one of my favorite Chinese spots for years, but the last couple times I've gone the food has been way subpar, especially the Bourbon chicken. Looking at other reviews, they're under New ownership, which isn't surprising.
They're still one of the better Chinese places in the palm bay/west Melbourne area, but I'm not going to eat here anymore. Last couple times I threw out half my food
Edit: forgot to mention, the French fries with the previous owners were enough to feed a whole family and were GREAT (as long as you opened the lid so they didn't get soggy) but the new owners only give you like a small handful in a paper bag. Talk about cheap, they're potatoes. You're not saving much. Plus you seem to be running a day...
