We've gone three strikes with them and they are out.
I tried them when the first opened and got the Birra tacos. They were almost good, unfortunately it tasted like the juice had been watered down to make it go further, it did not taste like the beef on the tacos. I chocked that up to them being in a soft open, figured I'd give them another go.
The second time I got a Birra quesadilla and my girlfriend got chicken tacos. My quesadilla was nothing to write home about, it really just seemed to lack any flavor of any kind. Smothered with lime and extra cilantro that I had at home made it okay. My girlfriend didn't finish 1 of her chicken tacos. The chicken was oddly tough and stringy, also lacking any real flavor. At the very least they could shake some adobo on that stuff.
We tried them for a third time last night and we won't be going back. I got enchiladas. Even though the whole plate was swimming in ranchero sauce and cheese sauce, nothing really tasted like anything. The tortillas had a very glutinous raw like flour taste. The ground beef tasted like plain ground beef, homemade with cheap elpaso taco seasoning blows it out of the water. The chicken was almost completely inedible, extremely tough and stringy. Also completely flavorless even with the sauce on it.
My girlfriend got fish tacos, and man, they were just weird. The pieces of fish were actually of pretty decent size, they were however the blandest tasting fish that I have ever eaten in my life. The tacos had some sort of extremely sweet mayo based sauce on them. It tasted like cattlemans bbq sauce mixed with Mayo, absolutely not what anyone expects on a proper fried fish taco.
This being the most expensive "Mexican" restaurant in Brevard county, you really would expect better quality. Add on that numerous other reviews mention extremely rude wait staff and managers that talk back. I'm just glad we got our $65 unappealing tex mex for take out. $65.00USD for two people.
The place is officially a joke. Save your money and go...

Aesthetically pleasing from the second you walk in with colorful decor of the so beloved eccentric vibe of Dia De Los Muertos.
The service was an instant disappointment and continued through the beginning of our visit. Getting noticed upon entry was hard, and once we had a seat, we stared at one another and waited for someone, anyone, to collect our drink and appetizer order for more than 15 minutes. Our hunger kept up from leaving. Once we had a server, then we had a second, then a third until finally; the gentleman that would take care of us from then on out. Little communication between the team until we had our orders in. From there we were attended to beautifully and flawlessly!
The food was out of this world!! Like. Truly!
The chips and queso were fresh and hot! Nothing not to love.
Our drinks were cold, frozen, sweet and beautifully presented. Absolutely wonderful drinks.
The octopus ceviche was huge! Tons of perfectly cooked octopus (hard to achieve) lots of ripe avocado, raw veggies, fresh orange and that tangy tajin seasoning!!
All our entrees were large portions and again, cooked to perfection! The lamb was fall off the bone with a finger licking good sauce, tomato salsa and plump rice. The quesadilla Birria was cheesy and juicy with a fabulously rich consume. The steak and chicken combo was equally perfected. Seasoned tender meats that had just enough spices.
We finished with a fried ice cream. The kind with corn flakes that makes we wish you had a bigger stomach so you could order seconds! (We opted out of the Hersey’s syrup it typically comes with, as neither of us like the taste of that particular chocolate syrup. We are so glad we asked what was used before we ordered)
This place is a gem! We live in a sea of mediocre Mexican restaurants in Brevard county. This one is anything BUT and possibly the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in this...
Read moreI hate bad reviews, especially for small businesses, but the service me and my mom just recieved wasn't cool. Yesterday was my birthday, and I wanted to treat myself to a good margarita. I also got a side of rice. My mom got cheese dip. My tab was about $20. The price isn't the problem- the problem was I got bad vibes from the waitress to begin with, but that was fine because its not her job to give me good vibes, it's to serve food, right? We still had cheese dip left, and ran out of chips so I asked for more. She says "I can't give you more chips." Just like that, and walks away. If it was policy that to keep getting chips you have to buy a whole meal- thats fine, it's not her fault that's how the business is. But we didn't get that explanation, not a "sorry, I can't refill chips if you don't buy a whole entre meal but if you want to order something else I can!" None of that. Just "I can't give you more chips." And walks away and then doesnt even take our check, we had to go up to someone to cash out. I'm a foodie and have NEVER experienced such rude service. This was my first time here and I'll either never dine in again, or ask for a different server because I remember her name from the receipt, which I won't publicly post.
Even IF it was policy not to keep refilling the chips, which we only got 2 small containers of in total, my bill was $21. I expect chips, that's the bare minimum. This place needs to do better, and hire actually decent people. Then they wonder why they don't get good tips.
Long story short, food was great, margarita was exactly what I wanted. Waitress was rude and sucked to be given...
