I went here with my family Thursday night for a small birthday party and it was great!!!! The service was friendly and there were plenty of familiar faces from times gone by. The chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is lovely. I can't wait for when they start live music.
I ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich. I really didn't enjoy it as much as I could have, I had some dental work done and wrapping my mouth around an entire sandwich wasn't the best idea lol. But tune empanadas oysters and bread were all FANTASTIC. I had never tried oysters before (yes I'm young) but these were great, other more experienced oyster eaters told me that they were very fresh and delicious, and I 100% believe them.
And then AND THEN. I had dessert. I got the mango key lime. OH LORD HAVE MERCY. That was the BEST key lime pie I think I have ever had. It was thick and creamy. Not super light like other ones, but so much yummy gooey creamy goodness. It was cold and refreshing and the mango gave it such a lovely fresh citrus flavor. My compliments to the chef!
Also, shout out to our wonderful server Owen. TOP NOTCH MAN. So kind, personal and accommodating. That man deserves a raise, seriously. Like yesterday.
So yeah, that's my review! I have photos of what my grandmother ordered and of the AMAZING pie that I will have dreams about. I forgot to take photos of the other stuff, I was too busy...

If you’re looking for a place where the food is so good it makes you rethink your life choices (like why you don’t live closer), Buccaneer Water Front Bar & Grill is it. Chef Paul has crafted a menu that makes you want to order one of everything and then unbutton your pants in public.
Let’s talk highlights: the crab cake is so perfect it might make you emotional. The grouper cioppino is basically a hug from the ocean. The lobster elote pizza? Who knew seafood and street corn would be besties? And for dessert, the Fruity Pebbles bread pudding will make you feel like a kid again—except this time, you get to pair it with a cocktail.
Speaking of drinks, Taylor and Marty at the bar are basically mixology magicians. The Toasted Coconut and Siren’s Call are so dangerously good you might “accidentally” have three (don’t say I didn’t warn you).
The GM runs a tight ship—everyone is friendly, professional, and somehow manages to make you feel like both a VIP and a regular, even on your first visit. And let’s not forget the view! Sunsets here are so gorgeous they could make a grown pirate cry.
Bottom line: I live 45 minutes away, and I’ll be back again and again. It’s that good. Pack your appetite and maybe some stretchy pants—you’re gonna need ‘em.

Read moreThey pushed pretty heavy on social media for their Oyster Day special of $1 oysters -- but when we got there the GM let us know that the delivery truck was late and they were dangerously low oysters! This is definitely a case where good communication solved a problem.. He apologized, and said they were doing all they could to get them ASAP. We had some nice conversation at our table by the window, looking out onto the intracoastal. My guest had a WPB Local Civil Society IPA, while I opted for Gin Blossom from their specialty cocktail menu. We shared a Florida Style crabcake that was very nice, with a lot of lump crab meat, and not a lot of filler. It was still another 20-30 minutes, but then our oysters did appear! To be honest, this was my first time for raw oysters... and they were great! I enjoyed both their mignonette and their cocktail sauce as well. We decided to also share a Lobster Elote pizza, and we both loved it. I mean, that's a flavor combination I've never seen anywhere else! We decided on one more round of oysters each, and then our server tempted us with dessert... She started listing options, but I was hooked at "Fruity pebbles bread pudding". They've only been open a few months - they're still figuring everything out, but we were very pleased and will definitely return to try more...
