China King — Restaurant in Palm Coast

The tables were falling apart, the lighted menus were from 1968. Of course I’m exaggerating, but that’s how old they look. I ordered general chicken meal combo and hot and sour soup. First of all the eggroll was so dry I couldn’t bite it. The general chicken was so overcooked it was like chewing splinters. The pork fried rice had absolutely no taste and is greasy let’s get to my favorite part. The only thing I really wanted was the hot and sour soup. And it had the consistency of water and tasted like chili pepper. And just spicy no taste to it. I called them to tell them absolutely everything was overcooked and they want me to bring the food back for me to get a refund. Have you ever heard of that? I have no problem bringing it back because it’s going in the trash, one way or the other. Do yourself a favor boil water and make spaghetti noodles. It has more taste and you have a better chance of not overcooking the noodles than they do any...

It's honestly not my favorite in Palm Coast, China Express is. BUT, my friends like it here more!

The food is not bad, it is never cold, it is ALWAYS fresh, I just don't love the taste as much as other Chinese restaurants.

They work hard here and work to complete your order quick. Monday through Friday they have a great lunch special for around $5 that comes with an entrée, your choice of rice, an egg roll, AND a soda. To me that's a good deal and sometimes I suck it up and eat here anyway.

What I really enjoy here is their chicken and broccoli, it is probably the only thing I ever get and tastes great.

My friends and family get everything else from seafood dishes to their Chinese-style chicken wings and love it.

For that reason, I am the minority and cannot remove stars for that. People...

$15 for boneless spare ribs, it comes with a lot but most of the pieces are extremely fatty and the sauce is 80% grease, they’re egg fried rice is $10 it is Okay but smaller portion and doesn’t have vegetables like most fried rice. i normally choose between here and china express but recently i’ve been liking china express better. the egg roll is burnt and the filling isn’t all that good. After eating only a few pieces of ANY meat they will have you feeling like you ate taco bell. the customer service kinda sucks and all the workers stare and make you uncomfortable the very few tables they have are never clean but the food always comes out fast so if you’re hungry you can come here but the service and food isn’t much better then mcdonald’s which is just as fast...
