This was our first time eating here. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. It is a very clean (bathrooms included) and cozy restaurant. We visited just after our kids finished running a cross country meet at Matanza High School. We ordered a XL Cheese and Pepperoni pizza, large house salad, appetizer - french fries and 3 medium drinks. Total came to $50.88 without tip included. Another parent with me ordered a dozen garlic rolls, XL Cheese and Pepperoni pizza, buffalo wings and drinks. The food was served hot (you could see the steam) and fresh. The pizza dough was light and airy. My salad was fresh and crisp. The garlic rolls were everyone's FAVORITE at the table. The kids were hungry and could have eaten anything, but the 2 adults paying wanted quality food. Quality food is what we got with an excellent server - Miss. Ashley. She was quick to greet us with a smile and knew the boys were hungry. She made suggestions, talk to us and was VERY attentive even with having 3 other tables. We did NOT have a bad experience at all. If I had to suggest or make an a recommendation .... it would be the sweet tea. They do brew their own sweet tea, which is fantastic. I requested to exchange my sweet tea for ice water because it was not very sweet. I do not prefer Georgia sweet, but I do like tea made as sweet as Chick-Fil-A makes it. Miss. Ashley completely understood and exchanged my drink for ice water with no charge.
I left there with leftover pizza and salad to have the next day. Plus I asked if I could order a half dozen of garlic rolls to go. Miss. Ashley recommended that she give them to me in a tin foil covered pan and I could heat them up when I was ready to eat them the following day. Those garlic rolls turned out just as good as they were at the restaurant. Scrumptious! When traveling through I will defiantly make note of your pizza shop to stop again. Read moreUPDATE: I don’t live in Florida and the manager refused to refund my money after admitting the Sicilian is so bad they’re taking it off the menu after continuously selling it to ppl knowing it’s not of NY quality pizza . The other pizzas were bad too as stated and he said he would do a cash refund after yelling at me telling me it’s ridiculous that I won’t let him remake me a trash few pizzas I paid $60 for 2 hours before my flight home . Then he knew I was in town still about to head home and could pick up a cash refund because apparently his system doesn’t do refunds for cards. And was like “WOW YOURE IN TOWN NOW? And won’t let us remake the pizza” yelling at me then said fine I’ll refund $30 of it then calls me back yelling at me again saying he doesn’t trust that I’ll not still call my bank to get my money back and so I started recording the call then he fixed his tone and started acting friendly and passive aggressive! I can attach the call below but I’ll spare the jerk the embarrassment because I don’t want him losing more business I just want my money back. It’s holiday time and this man has 0 integrity . A shame then he says I’m calling my bank for fraud ? HA . No it’s not fraud . I ordered pizza that’s suppose to be NY style and it was NOT and even for American quality pizza it was still trash . So it’s not fraud and I have photos of the pizza plus a screenshot of his response admitting he knew he was sending us bad pizza . So who’s really doing the fraud ??? Paul , u should be ashamed . And I hope you don’t speak to ur employees the way you spoke to me . The Sicilian pizza was soggy and overly sauced …4 of the 7 ppl eating this were highly disappointed . We’re from up north and this was suppose to be “authentic” but disappointed . The other pizzas were normal and def didn’t have any crunch to them , the cheese had no pull and the toppings weren’t spread with care. The chicken wings were incredibly dry.They messed up a very simple order of chicken broccoli Alfredo (they left out the chicken)...and didn’t even offer to replace it when the error was brought to their attention. Then the slop they did deliver, has had me physically sick to my stomach for the last two hours. Will not be visiting here again.
response My email is new because my student email has expired. This is my only google review because it is a new email and this is the only horrible experience I have had. I could post the receipt if you’d like. If you want good reviews, provide good service and deliver what was ordered. You should own up to your mistakes. When we called to inform your staff of the incorrect order nothing was done to correct it. Protocol is that you replace the order. After nothing was done and you received the bad review you earned you should have owned up to your mistakes as well. Apologizing for making me physically ill and messing up the order would have been a start. Instead your response was immature and unprofessional and no way to run a business. Also, I see in other reviews that I am not the only one who got food poisoning from your establishment. It’s very clear that your response is a cover up because you know your food is bad. Pathetic......
