Loopers Par & Grille — Restaurant in Palm Coast

I have been wanting to eat here forever when it was called the Green Lion, I believe. Anyway, we met friends there and had a pretty good dinner around 5-6:00. It wasn't crowded as we chose to dine outside. However I regretted that choice when the flies showed up. Unfortunately the outdoor porch was not screened in. I personally had the meatloaf, I told my wife that it was the best ever, ok dear, second best ever. The waitress was ok, kind of goofy, for lack of a better word. We had to ask to get our drinks refreshed, a bigg no no in my book, and it was revealed in her tip. Afterwards, I dug in my wallet and out popped my debit card and it landed on the wooden floor and wouldn't you know it, it fell right between the crack. I couldn't believe it! Then, to top it off, our waitress had the gull to say, "oh, that is the third time this week that that has happened". I'm like, how about patching the floor already! Oh well, to much drama for my taste. We all had a decent meal except my wife and my friend both got the same fish deal that wasn't very good. But my meatloaf was good and my friends wife's ribs were good. It's a rather new restaurant and I like to wait to get the bugs worked out but I was overruled. Husband and I decided to go out and patronize another restaurant today. The atmosphere was nice we sat outside. The food prices were good, no complaints there. Our server was ok, not much interaction with us as others dining around us. We felt a little ignored at times. I went specifically for a burger which had no flavor at all and my chips were burnt. My husband ordered the fish sandwich which had a tomato salsa type sauce on it but he does not eat tomatoes so he removed them. He asked for a little sauce since most of it was on the tomatoes he scrapped off to be told he could not have that sauce as it is made in a pan. My husband is a chef and restaurant owner and know that sauces out on sandwich is not that difficult to provide to someone. We totally would have paid extra for sauce but my husband put mustard from the table and choked it down. This was our first experience not sure...

After my round of golf which was very nice I walked up on the patio and waited to be seated for lunch, after standing around for 5 plus minutes with no service I went in to the bar and sat down at a table, after 10 minutes or so an older couple came in and sat down at a table next to me they were given menus and water while I was still sitting there waiting after a few minutes the couple left out to the patio, I got up and grabbed one of their menus and waited for a waitress to take my order, after 5 more minutes I finally gave up and left, this was a Thursday around 2pm and they did not seem overly busy.
