Update ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Appreciate the quick response from management — it’s clear they’re trying and care about their staff, which I respect a lot. That said, with how hot it’s been, it probably would’ve helped to either close up shop during peak heat or at least bring in some fans or dehumidifiers to keep things a little more bearable. Still love the donuts and the energy here, just hoping things cool off soon (for everyone’s sake!). Thanks again for being responsive! This week, I visited the Palm Coast spot four days in a row, and I noticed it was consistently warm inside. Today (Saturday, July 19), I arrived to a handwritten sign saying the A/C is down on a day when Florida temps are reaching triple digits. Honestly, I’m concerned not just for the comfort of customers but especially for the employees working in those conditions. Swillerbees is a quaint local bakery with a rotating menu of tasty treats, fresh coffee, and solid breakfast sandwiches. However, their customer service is very hit or miss. As a regular, rarely am I greeted upon entry, and virtually none of the workers look like they are happy to be there. I’ve literally walked up to the cashier and had the awkward pause of if the employee will actually speak or if I should just talking. In addition, when ordering donuts, often the cashier will make you come to them rather than to you so it’s really awkward to try and see all the donuts if there’s someone behind you. This system could be improved. If Swillerbees can improve their employee training and figure out how to get their employees to actually look and act like they care for their customer, they’ll have more business than they can handle and there will be a consistent line out the door. Tried their Blueberry Cake Donut the other day (3/21/2024) and it was Amazing that I ended up getting 3 more. By using my points I got the 3rd one free. On (3/22/2024) A mess happened in the vehicle when the lid to a cold brew coffee came off as I moved it to the cup holder. I am honestly, thankful and grateful that I got a free hot coffee for my mother went in to the shop after we were running an errand. Having something warm to heat up the cold is wonderful. Elsewise, I would recommend this location for the variety of beverages, treats, and food that they serve.
