Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Palm Desert

Stopped by to eat, on our way back home, to yucca valley, ordered, the young lady, also a supervisor, read back and comfirmed our order. Didn't give me a receipt, so I had no way at the time, to see that she didn't get our order correct. Our order was two combos, two cheese burgers. When our food came out, we were given two hamburgers, and two cheese burgers. We told her we ordered, the combos! She kept saying well I didn't hear that! We requested no tomatoes, there wasn't, so it appeared she heard our order correctly..why were we given cups if we didn't order a combo. I had to go back up and pay 4.00 more! To get our fries, that we ordered in the 1rst place. I asked for my receipt, she rudely said I'll print it then. Why is even Getting a receipt an issue? I thought it was automatic. There is a lady that works here that has absolutely no personality and is not welcoming whatsoever. I know working at a fast food place isn't everyone's dream job, but my god, at least you have a job. She's just extremely robotic. I go out of my way to be friendly and nice to people when I go to any fast food establishment because I know it can be overwhelming, so when people act this way it's just weird to me and comes off extremely rude.

Also, every time I order here and she happens to be working the drive-thru I ask for ranch and EVERY single time she's been the one at the window she says they don't have any. This is during my lunch hour in which I'm going around noon. How do you completely run out of ranch by noon? How do you not have it at all? It is...

A strawberry Shake is the only item I ordered at this Carl's today. It was a complete waste. I could not even drink it. It had NO flavor. Water has more flavor than the shake had. I called and told the manager it was the worst shake I have ever had. That was the first time in my life I ever called a fast food restaurant to complain. First the manager said they ran out of the strawberry syrup, then she said she would provide more training to the employees. If they were out of the strawberry syrup, I should have been told that when I ordered. That shake was supposed to be my lunch and because it was 105 degrees, I was really looking forward to a cold rich strawberry shake. Total waste of my time and money.
