We just moved a mile from this tiny hidden gem and I stopped in for some takeout, hoping to establish some new favorite hangouts. I saw one food place but when my husband noticed the sign for Middle Eastern food, I was like a kid in a candy shop. The greeting by the owner was warm and natural. The place is very clean and very small with a cook making food one order at a time in back. I chose a kefta kebab and the onions, tomato, sauce and pita bread are outstanding. I love love love their bakhlava! Perfect in every way.
We already were happy to live in such a great area but now we are so looking forward to going back soon!
Be aware they have one tiny table so most of the people I saw were coming in for takeout. One man from New York says he is a regular and raved on and on about the food. He was so excited he handed me a takeout menu! 😊
Don't miss out because this sweet source of wonderful treats...
Read moreOkay I was a little bit skeptical about all the five stars ✨ but I am now totally convinced! The falafel are nice and big the way I usually make them myself at home. I honestly haven’t had time to make them in a couple of years so I was happy to find them! All the sauces were so tasty! The gyro fries were generously portioned and very tasty! I am gluten-free and sometimes have a hard time with my options! I am not a celiac so I’m not able to say anything about that but I wasn’t glutenized!! Which I am able to feel in my mouth almost immediately! Yay! Felt like a taste of home but better because Gyro!! Don’t forget the baklava too! I got a piece for my roommate and she loved it! I am so sad that as of yet I have not found a gluten-free version! My mother used to make the best baklava! The storefront was nice and clean too! With this place being only five minutes away I have a feeling I am going to...
Read moreWe were pretty disappointed. This doesn’t seem to be a new place, and they were clearly not super busy. Theres just no excuse for the absence of any discernible garlic sauce on the chicken Shawarma wrap. Both of our wraps were on the small side, and Dry. There was nothing fresh included, such as lettuce and tomato. We did enjoy the fries and pickle inside the wrap. The wrap material itself was identical to a tortilla. The chicken was flavorful and quite tasty. I enjoyed an Arnold Palmer made from the mint tea and lemonade; my husband had the lemonade and said it tasted fermented. I couldn’t taste that. The baklava were quite tasty with a lovely rose syrup finish. I always want to give a small business the benefit of the doubt—mistakes do happen—but this one isn’t too promising based on our one experience. I’m glad some people are delighted with the food—good luck to...
