Worst bar/lounge in the area! So disappointed to have experienced this place in such an upscale location. I went with some coworkers, we had what was supposed to be a private going away party for a friend, however it was far from private. Complete open access for the rest of the bar, strange men would come in and eat our food we had for our private party, also a few of what appeared to be underaged girls, made their way into our VIP section with alcoholic beverages in their hands. With that being said, neither myself or any of my coworkers were even carded before being served alcohol which was super concerning! Staff had terrible customer service, very rude. One of the lady’s working there chased us down when we wandered to the bar to order drinks and asked us what we were doing back there!!! As if we weren’t allowed! Finally the worker gives us a drink menu after directing us back to our “private” area, by that time happy hour was over and most drinks were $13. I ordered El Paseo Rose, which was one of the $13 beverages on the menu, however was charged $15 for the drink instead, my friend ordered the same exact drink and was charged $17!!! So confused! Terrible place, completely unprofessional, would recommend staying far away, they won’t be in business very long, especially if they continue to not scan for I.D.’s before...
Read moreDo NOT come here! Decide to go check out this place after having dinner on El Paseo but was greeted by the rudest host at the door. I was with a friend and we when walked up to the front the women at the door abruptly said in the rudest tone “I’m not letting anyone in”. We asked if the place was too full, and all she did was look at us (we’re both Latina women) and gave us a dirty look and told us we had to leave. However, after we left and drove by we saw she was letting in a large group of people inside. I would not come here if you are POC because they seem to be specific on the type of people they let in. I also was aware of the dress code for this Lounge and saw that the people who were in let inside didn’t even fit the dress code and seemed dressed on the more casual side. So don’t waste your money here and go...
Read moreThis place opened at 9pm, my partner and I came by at 9:05. Lights on, opened door, staff all sitting at the bar. I said “are you open?” Guy inside said “uhhh” I closed the door and we went to La fe. On our way back up the street, they had “security” out front. We wanted to stop in and check it out, as we have some friends in town next week and we’re looking for places to bring a large group of people for music and drinks. The security checked my ID, and then proceeded to say “sorry boss, no hats. You can leave it up front or put it in your car if it’s close. Mind you, there were zero people inside at 10pm on a Friday… If they don’t need the business in September in Palm Desert, I’ll go to a local spot who does. Plenty of places to support other than this place.
Anyway… these are the places that keep Palm Desert...
