I decided to grab lunch here during a day of running errands around town. As I walked in the back door and down the long hall, I very nearly turned around because of the overwhelming smell of stale smoke, that smelled like decades of cigarette odor was baked into the walls. But when I arrived at the dining room, thankfully the smell was pleasant. I have never had ramen before, so I chose something very entry level which was beef ramen with gluten free noodles, not spicy. I probably should have ordered spicy because the ramen and broth was pretty bland, but that's on me. I was the only one in the restaurant at 2:00 PM on a weekday, but not surprisingly so as this area becomes a ghost town in the summer. The service was very good and I enjoyed the fun decor and would definitely go back. There were signs posted about karaoke nights, and when I inquired about it with the lady working there she said it's fun, but pretty dead during the summer. Makes sense. I am often in this shopping area and will definitely be coming back to try something a little...
Read morevery poor quality ramen. We were 4, and all 4 main dishes were not that good. my seafood ramen did not taste fresh. The shrimps on there tasted horrible, the ones on the shrimp curry rice too (which did not tasted like curry rice in Japan). Altough the old woman who served us looked asian, she wasn't japanese at all (i heard her saying she was taiwanese to another customer) so I think that's why she did not understand some of our order. I wanted the Ramune and she served me iced tea. My friend wanted ramen with tonkatsu on it and the waitress understood "tonkostu" ramen but kept saying "tonkastu" which is not the same. Our drinks were served after we got our meals and we had to ask for it again. The plum sake was served in a champagne glass, did not understand why..
The takoyaki were good tho.
Overall review is that the place, which is cute, looks like an authentic japanese restaurant but it is definitely not. As I went several times in Japan, this restaurant's food does not taste anything like authentic...

For as long as I could remember, friends, family, and even strangers have always said great things about Sapporo. After years of procrastinating, I finally decided to take their word for it and had to try it myself. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I entered a whole new world. The atmosphere was great, hospitality was exceptional, and yes….the food was phenomenal. I’ve tried many Ramen restaurants, but there is none that can compare to this one. The flavors are unmatched and are truly one of a kind. I have never been to Japan, but I can assure you that this food will tranform your tastebuds into a reality of true Japanese authenticity. This was my first visit to this restaurant, and certainly not my last! I should be ashamed of myself for waiting as long as I did to eat at this place. So…if you’re reading this and can’t decide whether or not to eat here, take this as your sign. Don’t...
