This was not bad at all, but we walked away, feeling just kind of “meh”. When we showed up, they said it was a 15 minute wait, it was more like three minutes – awesome. We got seated and had an excellent waitress, with great service. We felt very well taken care of, and when our entrées took a little longer than expected to arrive, Someone stopped by no less than twice to let us know that the food will be coming soon. It wasn’t so long that it was annoying, we’re on vacation and relaxing after all, so we didn’t mind the wait. The appetizer bread was fresh out of the oven, and delicious. The coconut shrimp, which they are apparently known for, were also freshly made and quite hot still.

Unfortunately, the entrées were where things took a bit of a turn. Both the baby back ribs and mahi-mahi were overdone. Not burnt to a crisp, but certainly done decently more than they should be. I am not a food critic, so I am pretty relaxed in my Food reviewing… But these were still notably overdone. The ribs were tender, and the sauce was decent.

The drinks were good. My wife was sticking to the zero proof and really enjoyed what she had. My sangria was good, but I didn’t love the mai tai – but I think that was more my preference than the drink being bad.

I do want to give them props, though, most everything in the area by way of restaurants is either resorts (aka overpriced) or simply expensive…. Except not Tommy Bahama. The prices are actually fairly reasonable for a...

We truly enjoy a Tommy situation while traveling! This location features upstairs terrace outdoor seating for 50% and indoor seating for the other 50%, offering beautiful views of the city along with refreshing breezes—a perfect place to enjoy time with loved ones.

We arrived at 8 PM (closing time is 9 PM) and ordered our usual drinks and appetizers, which were spot on! We experienced a minor issue with a broken glass that had a shard in it, but the staff promptly replaced it with a fresh one and even comped the drink and a starter. The manager followed up in a quiet, respectful manner, and their professionalism impressed us—it didn’t even affect our dinner!

For our main courses, we ordered a range of dishes from steaks to specials and couldn’t have been happier. However, our potato sides didn’t meet our expectations; they were cold to the touch. We mentioned this to the manager, who graciously offered to fix them. He definitely delivered! The potatoes came back piping hot, creamy, and flavorful, making us wonder if the kitchen staff had been rushing to go home. Regardless, the manager handled it exceptionally well and ensured we were taken care of.

The atmosphere was extremely relaxed, the restaurant was clean from top to bottom, and the service was impeccable. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we will...

Usually, I always love a Tommy Bahama’s! I’ve been to them in multiple states and have been to this one at least a dozen times. Sadly, this will be our last time. While waiting for a table, we walked up to four empty barstools. Before sitting down, the rude and angry bar tenders said, “You can’t sit there because those sits are being moved.” We said, “okay, can we sit here?” Again, he repeated and pointed, those seats are being moved. So, we politely asked, “so, we can’t sit at the bar. Then, he forcefully and rudely yelled at two women, who never raised their voice at him, and said “I didn’t say you couldn’t sit there!” At that point, we went to cancel our table and the General Manager came over. He investigated and validated our claims of anger, rage, and inability to handle a busy Friday night was an inappropriate display from the bar tender. He found qua a seat and we dealt with a great service and the manager of the bar treated us really well. Brandon, the bar tender lied to us. The seats were never being removed but instead wanted to save it for his trashy, two lady friends. This is nothing but a glorified chain restaurant. Sad cause I loved it but I won’t be verbally abused and lied to. The bar tender was so aggressive, I was shaking visibility and even the staff could see...

Eating @tommybahamarestaurant . You will find a few of these around the country, but the first California location was established in Palm Desert. The restaurant has a bar, patio, and a nice menu. It's definitely one of the hotspots in Socal. #foodtour #foodreels #foodblog #tommybahama #palmdesert #americanfood #vacationtime
