Some of the best restaurants I tried in Greater Palm Springs @dinegps , which is part of Restaurant Week from May 31 to June 9th. The chef driven, cafe style food at Waters Cafe @aguacalientecasinos , the fine Mexican cuisine at Mole, the Brazilian churrasco @churrascopalmsprings , and the vegetarian posited eats @minervaspalmsprings . Greater Palm Springs is a fun place to try Cali-style foods of all kinds. I encourage you to visit Greater Palm Springs during Restaurant Week to check out some amazing food! #dineGPSfoodie #dineGPS24 #ad #sponsored

Busy, local, upscale Mexican restaurant with very tasty twists on the traditional favorites. We enjoyed the guacamole sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, brought nice flavor to the appetizer served with homemade crispy round chips. The beef enchiladas had a smoky flavor, meat was very tender and flavorful. Fish tacos were topped with a mango slaw, sauce on the side was a bit spicy but would definitely order again. For ala carte sides we tried the coleslaw which was very fresh, crunchy with a light dressing, not too mayonnaise-y and the mini skillet cornbread which contained small corn kernels and a lemony dollap of butter on top, more than enough to share for 2-4 people. We took the prickly pear flan to go, this was amazing with fresh fruit topping. Would recommend this restaurant, service was friendly, prompt. Recommend reservations but we did observe some walk-ins being seated earlier in the evening. Ample parking on nearby streets and in rear.

I don’t often feel compelled to write a review for a restaurant. ***Mole*** on El Paseo in Palm Desert is a MUST. I give them an 11 on a scale of 1-10. The food is to die for. (My affinity for Mexican food leads me to think I was Mexican in a former life.) The ambiance was beautiful, warm & inviting, is upscale but not bougie. Their chef is magnificent, the staff, while spread thin (typical for a new restaurant) was attentive, kind and cordial. By the time we left I realized that a server was also the bartender! If you go , you have to try the Blood Orange Drop Martini. Menu pricing was median. Not sure how they can deliver the quality and creativity at their price point given their location. It is a perfect venue for small intimate gatherings of 4-6. All in all, run don’t walk. A rez is recommended, I guarantee it will not disappoint.

I do not write reviews but when I do it’s usually when I’ve had a great experience or a horrible one. In this case, it was a great one.

“The food was delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Chicken Mole and their guacamole! I love that the chips are homemade. Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They used the freshest ingredients and made sure each dish was made with love. The entire experience was memorable and Must-try!

I, kid you not we came home with no leftovers because the mole was that good. I see why they named their restaurant after the signature dish. Each bite was a delight, and the presentation just blew us away. Don’t miss out! “From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! Not to mention the amazing selection of margaritas the Pina was my favorite! And my husband raved over the Fruto De Cactus. “If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The ambiance is trendy and upscale. And most importantly it was immaculate and had a A on the window. The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, offering a wide variety of options, and everything we tried blew our socks off. I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes. It’s not your ordinary Mexican restaurant either. Everything was completely elevated and next level and we loved it all. Honestly, I can’t wait to come back again!” So yes we highly recommend it and would give it 10 stars if I could.

I also want to mention our service was absolutely phenomenal! Matthew took excellent care of us and we could not be happier with the service. He was attentive and friendly and made us feel like valued guests. He went out of his way to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional". He was warm and very professional. He added a personal touch to our evening, and we left feeling thoroughly satisfied because of him. So thank you, so kindly Matthew for going above and beyond we will be back just for...

The food was delicious, and the drinks were too. BUT the service was abominable!

We were excited to try this restaurant. When we arrived, we were sat at a table behind the wine wall near the drink order/pickup station. There were plenty of tables open and a booth, and we had a reservation, but still we were sat in the back corner. We waited 15 minutes for the waiter to come to our table, and the place wasn’t very busy. We ordered drinks, they were delivered 30 min later, apparently there was a backup at the bar. When we ordered a second drink, we could see the bartender finish it in minutes. It took the server 30 minutes to deliver it. When we finished our meals, the plates sat on the table for over an hour and when dessert was delivered, we had to push the dinner plates our of our way to make room for the dessert. The dinner plates sat there while we ate our dessert. We had to ask 3 times for a box for leftovers. We had to package it ourselves. We waited and waited to pay. We planned to split the bill. The server charged each of our cards twice. It took two of us 2 1/2 hours to dine at this restaurant! I would not recommend it unless you have a lucky streak. You may get a better waiter and enjoy your evening. We won't be returning or recommending...
