So I experienced a little racism while here... that's a first. Also, I was charged for 2 different things that weren't disclosed. I will actually be disputing the charge with my credit card company which I have never done before. The 2 Hispanics in front of me were greeted with smiles, when it was my turn, her demeanor changed. She wasnt necessarily rude but the mood was very different. Now here are the important parts... She asked, "would you like hard shell, or soft shell for your taco"? I replied, "hard shell". She moved on to ask if I wanted a drink. She rattled my total very quickly, almost intentionally, at least that was the feeling I got. After looking at my receipt, I was actually charged .59 for the hard shell, nothing was ever mentioned about that. Onw could argue shes being a clever sales person, which I'm all for a good up seller, but no, this is sneaky. I also received a charge saying "convenience fee"! Zero explanation or heads up! I had cash in my pocket and would have paid cash had it been posted or quite honestly mentioned to me, that should be the law actually. So yes, here I am with over a dollar of un stated charges. Now for the food, it was good. Not wow you need to eat here, but not bad dont go here it was good. Green salsa was hotter than expected which I actually liked. Their house salsa tastes like many of the other local Mexican places, la casita, Las casuelas, flor de jalisco etc etc. Their roasted salsa was bland, watery like. Enchilada sauce was good, not sweet like I've had in some places. Not really that rich in flavor either but still good. Cheese was bland, may even be fake cheese (soy)? Chips are okay, crispy and light. Cant tell if made in house but decent. Not a lot of shredded beef in the taco, very minimal. Was primarily shell and dressings, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese. All in all I wouldnt go here if I were you, nothing stands out in a positive way, and the charges without saying is really...
Read moreOne of the first things I noticed was the incredible customer service. I was so embarrassed, didn't mean to be a karen at all. I bought a lengua burrito and it came with rice and beans to my surprise, and I asked the waitress about it, she said it came like that, is how it was served, I realized my own mistake and proceeded to disassemble the burrito. I think she saw my face of disgust when I noticed it had cheese and quickly tended to me asking if I wanted an exchange, I was very surprised. She also continued her great customer service through our visit, what an incredible experience 👏...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Taqueria Sinaloense in Palm Desert! I tried the carne asada burrito, taco de lengua, and a carne asada torta, and each dish was absolutely delicious—flavorful and fresh. The customer service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. The restaurant was spotless, and it was clear that the kitchen was well-maintained, which made me feel confident about the food quality. I didn’t have to wait long at all for my food, which was a big plus! The location is perfect, with plenty of parking. I will definitely be coming...
