C.R. Chicks (Palm Springs) — Restaurant in Palm Springs

I have always ordered my food online. I was very disappointed for the first time yesterday. I wanted to treat my friends to lunch and we ordered online for pick up. We wanted to order the Smoky and it said online they were out of stock. So I decided to order 1/4 chicken with two sides. And a half loaf of bread. My friends placed their order also with 1/2 loaf of bread. When we arrived at the restaurant I heard everyone ordering Smoky's, when I asked about this the reply was we ran out last night. Uh, how about updating your website? We got home my chicken was a very small piece of white meat with a what looked like a completely burned wing. So I had 1 piece of edible chicken, the potatoes were dry and neither myself or my friends received the bread. Sorry CR Chicks, but that was not the way I wanted to introduce potential new customers to your restaurant especially after I have spent months raving to them about how good your food was. Every time I order from this restaurant I have an issue. This time my husband and I ordered two chicken breast sandwiches. He ate one half oh his sandwich, went to put mayo on the other and realized the piece of chicken on the other half of the sandwich was literally the size of a half dollar. This is not the first time something has been ridiculous from this c.r. Chicks in particular and the girls who answer the phones are ALWAYS rude. I order a loaf of bread nearly every time and my husband forgets to ask for it until he gets home usually and then notices it. We always pay for it however. Everyone was friendly, and even though they were busy, they food was amazing. The chicken is so moist and juicy. I was impressed. I’m not gonna lie though, the apple pie is my favorite! It’s like you get to have apple cobbler and apple pie at the same time! The slice is freaking massive and the size of two or three pieces at other places. I was really impressed with how good & at the right temp everything was with them being so busy. A lot of places start to slack when they are busy and that was not what happens here.
