Mexican Tacos & Bar — Restaurant in Palm Springs

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it just didn’t meet expectations. We ordered two items—one for me and one for my partner—and were surprised by how expensive it was for what we got. For example, the torta didn’t come with fries, which other nearby spots include for a much better price.

When we called to place the pickup order, the woman who answered the phone came off as quite rude—almost like she was doing us a favor by taking the call. It didn’t feel very welcoming, which set a negative tone before we even got the food.

Once we tried the food, both of us found it to be really lacking in flavor. We actually ended up tossing most of it and going somewhere else to eat, which was disappointing after spending so much. I was especially let down by the green sauce—usually my favorite part of a Mexican meal—it was extremely salty and had no real flavor.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our visit. I hope they’re able to improve, but unfortunately, it’s not somewhere we’ll be...

I am sorry to say but I was going to have a birthday party for a friend of approximately 25 people which seem to grow to about 40 however I went back to discuss additional info with the owner who came to my table and explained she had no time to talk to me call her on the phone I was astonished to think an owner about to prepare for such an affair would at least have the courtesy to rehash before the affair,I was never so taken back and embarrassed in front of some friends who were there with me to translate for me. Of course I immediately vacated the establishment and called the husband the following day who was not even aware of such a party to occur. I will never darken the doors of this establishment again as did my friends admit the same. Very poorly run no paperwork handed to me stating anything except what the cost would be I guess you could say I was going to buy a pig in a poke not me I assure you. The Most horrible experience ever! My family was craving Mexican food today and came in the evening. Good amount of people but a lot of tables empty. We didn’t get asked for drinks until 15 min later after we arrived. We then proceed to order our food, my fathers food came in after and hour of being seated at the table. They then came to tell us there was no more rice available! Really?! My mother’s food didn’t arrive until 15 min after my fathers food and also didn’t come with rice. My food wasn’t even ready but it would be shortly, is what the waitress stated. 30 min pass and still didn’t receive anything. I told her just to cancel my order of food. I was already frustrated and upset with the service of the restaurant. I also went to the Men’s restroom, there was so much water on the ground and they had NAPKINS,SPOONS & FORKS stored on top of a shelf next to a Mens Stall! Really horrible experience today! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!...
