SMACKIN’ SMASH BURGER FOOD TRUCK — Restaurant in Palm Springs

Always on the lookout for a good smash burger, saw the reviews here and decided to try it out.

Service was really friendly and the music is pumping LOUD so keep that in mind for the atmosphere. They make the burgers to order and takes about 10-15min depending on the order.

First I’d like to talk about the fries here. Very crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside with a perfect texture. Mine were salted exactly how I like. Definitely would rate the fries 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Burger time. I ordered a double smash as it is on the menu. Came out piping hot and the patties are smashed very thin. The burger itself was good but not great, to me an average smash. I’d definitely enjoy it again and I’ll rate the burger 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Their pink sauce has a very pickle forward taste , tangy and slight sour. Heads up because it’s strong.

We headed northbound on Military Trail at night, and at first glance, the spot looked closed because of how dark it was. A bit more lighting or signage would really help boost the vibe and catch more attention from people passing by.

As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted at the window. Staff was friendly and straight to the point. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, so we were in and out fast.

I ordered the Original Smash Burger with no onions, and got the combo with fries and a soda for fifteen bucks. Honestly, the burger was great. My only suggestion is to toast the bun a little more so it holds up better with all the moisture and juices.

I recently had an amazing experience at Smackin' Burgers! The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was really inviting.
