AHI Hawaiian BBQ #2 — Restaurant in Palmdale

Firstly, I'm not sure how this place has been rated so highly. Secondly, if you have been to any other quality/authentic Hawaiian BBQ joint, you'll quickly be able to tell the subpar level of product here. The chicken is overcooked and doesn't taste like they used quality chicken in the first place and the sauces are extremely weak and almost completely tasteless. I have only been here once, against the advice of some friends that have been here and shared similar complaints. I love mom and pop joints, but I can't say I'll come here again...

Sadly i wanted to like this place but did not have the best service. They do not give you enough sauces for your meals. After paying with my debit card my total was $23.19 left a tip of a dollar which should have came out to $24.19. I checked my account and says i was charged $27.83. I doubt they charge over $3 to use debit. Trying to rip me off twice never coming back again sorry lost all my family and friends business. This was my first and last time here. We ordered the Chicken Katsu and the Loco Moco. The food was served hot and fresh. The CK was crunchy not soggy and the sauce was perfect, not very sweet just right.
