Puerto Nuevo Restaurant — Restaurant in Palmdale

Took the wife out for some dinner and let me tell you Puerto Nuevo Restaurant did not disappoint. From the simplest of things the chips and salsa were on point chips were warm and fresh and the salsa was so addictive you just wanted to keep eating. We started out with a tostada de ceviche de pescado, my mom makes some bomb ceviche de pescado but this one here at Puerto Nuevo was bomb too I think even better than my mom's.. sshhh lol... tasted so fresh the combined food with the veggies and to top it off fresh warm tostadas this was absolutely one of if not the best ceviche de pescado I e ever had. We orders some drinks we both had a Cantarito that was on point not over poured on alcohol it was mixed just right wife had a coctel de camaron which she loved and was also glad the shrimp were thoroughly cleaned and devined, ordered some Baja fish and shrimp tacos OMG let me tell you these were by far the best fish and shrimp tacos I've had here in the AV.. the sauce and cabbage with the mango pieces contemplate themselves very well.. I loved how the fish and shrimp were so hot freshly made they weren't cold soggy like other places.. tacos were so good I had 4 of them and left no more room for the other stuff we wanted to try. We'll be back...

My wife and I have seen this place across from Carl's forever. We were always curious but it wasn't till recently that we decided to give them a try. I don't think we have gone more than 2 weeks before ordering their food.

Their Baja tacos are just too good, street tacos are full and great flavors, along with everything else we tried. Even their margaritas are amazing, not one of those syrupy and overly sweet. Their star berry margarita is something I just can't get enough of.

Overall, this place is just astounding! Their service and quality is incredible and their menu is really just a testament to their quality, not to mention their prices are extremely reasonable.

Lastly, the gentlemen, Oscar is the man, is always helpful and on top of everything. He deserves a solid shout out for his consistent hard work and great hospitality.

First time here.... Not very impressed. Others got served before we did even though they got here after we did... our plate was served to our neighboring table. One dinner plate arrived at least 10 minutes before the rest. Bones in the enchilada's. Margaritas were not very good. We will not be making a second trip here...this place is horrible. I rarely if ever post a review. This time I had too. The fajitas which were supposed to be mixta.....were basically chicken and onions.
