Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Palmerton

You go in, see and read the signs look at the food looks tasty, but then you see them make it in the back. Multiple serf safe violations, cross contamination, touching of the food to be handed to customers. No gloves being used for starters, It has been a number of years since I ordered or visited this place the staff has totally changed since I was last there. I order Cheese fries and Garlic Knots via Door Dash.

The cheese is the fake cheese the "Mystery" Cheese from a can together with the Garlic Knots had me feeling nausea after just one, the taste was off, I have no sense of smell so I couldn't tell you if they smelt off too. However I threw them out. I knew from last time to avoid the Pizza because it is just too greasy.

The cheese on the pizza always slides off and the dough of the pizza is too thin feels like I'm eating paper, only time the pizza is good is when it's fresh off the stove, other than that I've had Tony's pizza in palmerton delivered to my house and I live right up the street and had it delivered to my house too late at around 10 pm and slept through it had to wake up to a cold pizza and didn't even refund for the late delivery I wasted money on a whole pizza pie for nothing. It is a good side restaurant but I think they rush the pizza too much and need to take more time on the dough and less cheese and a tiny bit more sauce, quality takes time I would rather wait 30 minutes for a quality pizza that I know I will like. I went into the store to place a take out order. The staff was courteous. While I waited, another customer returned and said she was not pleased with her order. The staff was professional in the situation and handled in such a way that the customer left pleased with the results. My pizza was excellent with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The crust was crispy. The prices here are reasonable. I will definitely be back to try some of their menu options. Four stars for the atmosphere because it was nothing special be it was very clean.
