I've been here twice now, first when they opened and again today and I have to say they are very consistent. I'd really like to give them a 4.5 and what lowers it a bit for me is the lack of bread selection. I understand that it's a sourdough deli but it would be nice to have some variations of sourdough such as an olive sourdough, etc. For the sandwiches themselves, I liked the portion size and the filling amounts match as well and have some good weight so I think they're worth the price. The veggies and cheese are all great as well and really fresh. I came back for the meatball since they're made in house so I had to come back and try them and they were worth it, great texture and size. They have 3 cookies and the quality of the cookie was really good too, not too buttery but great flavor and texture, bonus that you get a free cookie on yelp check-in as well! While I didn't eat here, they have a variation of tables both inside as well as outside, which is nice! It's pretty big inside so you don't feel cramped when you're there waiting to place your order or picking up. They have pickles and peppers on the side that you can grab yourself, which is a nice touch.

I was searching on google maps for a meatball sub and found this place. It's fairly new I suppose. Parking over here is always super easy, and there were plenty of signs to catch your attention around the plaza. I came from the El Camino side of the plaza and it wasn't obvious where the entrance was despite the signs and flags. The interior is gorgeous. The staff were very nice and helpful. They even offered me a free cookie for my first visit. I order a meatball sandwich and it was out super quick. The sandwich is delicious. The sauce, cheese, and meatballs are all delicious, but the real star is the bread. All great sandwiches have to have great bread and this bread is phenomenal. I love me some sourdough. I powered the sandwich and was super satisfied. I'm going to come here a few more times to get a better feel on the menu but my first impression is outstanding.

This place is pretty delicious, if you can find it haha. This particular location of CRUST is kind of tucked away in the bottom floor of a group of nondescript office buildings. It's definitely not something you notice right away from the street. Me and some coworkers nearly drove right by. All that aside, the sandwiches here were very much worth the drive and effort to find. I will say though... the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the star of the show. It was so soft and delicious. Make sure to pick one up if you stop by. You'll be glad you did.

Fresh and Flavorful at CRUST Sourdough Deli – Palo Alto Square

Stopped by CRUST Sourdough Deli and ordered the Cobb Salad, and it was absolutely delightful! The ingredients were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced—crisp greens, juicy tomatoes, creamy avocado, tender grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and a generous sprinkle of blue cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture, making it one of the best Cobb salads I’ve had in a while.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out—simple, fresh, and satisfying. The cozy, casual vibe of the deli also adds to its charm, making it a great spot for a quick, delicious lunch.

If you’re in the area and craving something fresh and flavorful, I highly recommend giving their Cobb Salad a try. I’ll definitely be back to explore more...
