Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Palo Alto

I haven't been to Round Table in a long time but I was missing it so I came here with my boyfriend. It was absolutely phenomenal. I got great service, the pizza didn't take too long to cook, and anything we complained about was immediately fixed.

They had some dirty plates and utensils near the salad bar so we requested new ones and they made sure they were clean for us. One of the bathrooms was out of TP so I told them and they said they would fix it.

I just don't like the fact I can't take off one item on the pizza and replace it with another one without being charged extra for the new item. For an example, I bought a large King Aurther's Supreme and they charged me over a dollar extra for Artichoke hearts. When I said I was willing to switch out the bell peppers for the artichokes they said they would still charge me when in the past they didn't. Maybe it is a location thing? I am not sure. But I hope they change that policy again in the future.

Other than that everything tastes great and fresh. They just need to maintain their bathrooms and make sure their salad bar has clean stuff after the all you can eat lunch buffet rush. I used to work at resturuants so I know it can be difficult to maintain all this stuff, but I believe they should be on top of it for the future. I will still come back because the food is very good. But charging extra for artichokes when I am willing to switch out ingredients so I don't have to pay extra was a bit disappointing.

Okay first off I ordered dine-in. They put my name under Bob when the person on the phone asked my name 3 times.( which was fine, no big deal) When I got there a 15 min after the call. The food was ready but not fresh, We still ate the pizza, but after trying to eat the twist, they were overly dry. So I asked if they can be remade (only 3, i didn't ask for all 6) I , when I asked if the twist can be recooked I was given a very big attitude from the female manager there. And didn't even feel safe eating them because I felt she would have done something to the food. I will never go...

Ordered delivery and I’m maybe a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. Driver approached door with pizza box partially open, and the pizza was cold upon arrival. I asked for plates, napkins, cheese and peppers and I was told “they didn’t give me any”. For a $30 medium pizza it comes with the expectation that my order will be kept hot and the same amenities available at the restaurant are made available upon delivery.
