Papi's Taqueria — Restaurant in Palo Cedro

I've never been the biggest fan of Papis in the first place but there are not a lot of options in Palo but today will be my last time. Last minute I decided to get lunch there today and I was shocked at the prices as well as the quality of the food. I ordered 3 rolled tacos at the price of 8.99 before tax which is ridiculous for 3 rolled tacos. Go anywhere else and you are paying a max of 4.99. If the rolled tacos were actually tasty I wouldn't of minded the price as much but they were burnt on the ends and the pork had zero flavor. It tasted like tasteless mush. I had what I thought was guacamole on my tacos but it was just mashed avocado which was disappointing. I also love a good green sauce but it tasted sour and off. My friend and I stopped here for the first (last?) time today and we both ordered the Super Burritto meal deal! Well, not such a great deal there Papi's! We dug furiously into theses BIG burrittos and all we could find was LITTLE more than a wad of RICE! That is some pretty expensive servings of rice! We would like to send the owner of Papi's to the Burritto Stand at Williams! Now there is a kick'n place to stop for a burrito! If we are even thinking of heading south we plan a stop there every time! Go there Papi! Then you will know what a REAL SUPER BURRITTO LOOKS LIKE!

I went thru drive thru and asked for 4 tacos plain meat only and a double hamburger with catchup well done. I got a half cooked double cheeseberger and 4 tacos with grease dripping from them with everything. Went back around they handed me a new order with more greasy steak on the tacos and a rare hamburger. So I parked and unloaded my wheelchair and went inside and had to get a refund. I was the only customer there. They had 3 people working and they messed up the order two times. To busy on the phone and not enough intrest in the customers orders. This happens every other time I go there. I will not return. I lived in Palo Cedro for 43 years and Papis never fails to disappoint. No other place in town is this bad....
