Tequila Mucho - Cantina & Grill — Restaurant in Palos Township

The moment we walked in we were screamed from across the restaurant to “find a seat”. As we sat down with a party of 03 we were exploring the drink menu and food menu. As we were ready to order the waitress had an attitude we then placed our food then she came and related the main cook left and nobody else knows how to make certain food. We then received our drinks they were nasty don’t order. The drinks were filled with ice all the way to the rim and were water down. We were not satisfied with our drinks, therefore we asked her to switch it out to get something else and her words were “ I can fix it “ after I already placed my other order. She then related we still had to pay for our drinks even thought they weren’t good and we asked for something else. Honestly this place is awful the environment, staff, food and drinks. Waitress attitude and body language was not professional at all she was on the phone most of the time. Took over an hour to receive our food on top of us waiting prior to that. Food was 1/10 wings barely had sauce, tacos are the size of ur palm very small. Found this place on TikTok don’t believe what they show you about this...

Make sure you check your receipt. Recently went on a weekday due to the specials listed on their website. When it came time to pay the pricing was different. The waitress said the manager refused to honor the pricing specials on the website and it is wrong pricing. It is the principle of false advertising and "click bait" so you go in.

When you first sit down they want a credit card to keep on file, this is a restaurant for dinner not a bar tab. We simply went for dinner and had to give a credit card as if we were not going to pay for our food.

The service was very slow considering it was a weekday and only maybe 2 tables of people. Our food order was messed up 2 times. They did not have several menu items listed. The restaurant used paper plates and spoons which looked like from the dollar store next door. My dog has better food bowls than what they used to serve food on. No where close to what the website shows as far as food presentation, pricing, or menu items. The empanadas were refried dried and tasteless. The tacos were decent but served somewhat warm.

So I made a reservation here for Sunday April 14th for a birthday brunch for 7 people.... When we arrived at the restaurant the place was really nice, but there was no food for brunch, the only item we were offered were empanadas. This was quite upsetting considering we were such a large group. They offered us a deal, $20 for unlimited empanadas or 2 for $10! I'm sorry but that's not brunch but a mere snack. However the drinks were on point and the decor was spectacular... lots of fun photos. I'm hoping the restaurant reads this review and offers something so my group can return and give a better review on the actual food.
