Five Guys — Restaurant in Panama City

If i could give this location 0 stars, I would. My family and i were enjoying our dinner outside on the sidewalk, sitting at one of their patio tables that was set up. After getting more than halfway through our meal, (around 15 minutes in) one of the employees came outside and told us we cannot sit or eat there. Very confused, i asked why. He said "because it's against the law"... I asked him if Five Guys is writing and inn-acting their own laws now, and he said no. He clearly did not know what to say or what he was talking about. There were no signs displayed saying you cannot eat on the patio, nor were the seats and tables taken away. I asked for my money back, which they did give, , packed up our mostly eaten meal, ketchup packets, napkins and drink, and we left. Does the management not understand that EVERY restaurant in Florida has had their patios open during this plandemic? Not only that, but EVERY restaurant is open back up to sit 25% capacity inside now. They are ignoring this. We will NEVER return to this location, or any other Five Guys location. We visited there yesterday me and my family we spent close to $60 for three double cheeseburgers one had bacon and I had a cheeseburger and we both got large fries when large drinks of course the music is great the atmosphere is great I love Five Guys but this wasn't a very good experience we feel like we wasted money!!! It'll be the last visit and we may never be back. we hadn't eaten in about twenty-four hours we decided to go in there and eat. we left there and went to Sally's and then we left Sally's and then we went to Walmart 10 minutes into Walmart we were all doubled over in pain the food was hitting us so badly that everyone was in the bathroom one of us even threw up in the parking lot of Walmart I'm sure that the Mark is still there and you're talking about a family that eats at Five Guys all the time and this usually is that the beach do to you know the hurricane that hit. never my life have I ever been so sick from eating at a place so if someone wants to make this right get with me and leave a number I'll be glad to call you and try to get this resolved. The man that took my order was very polite and accurate with our order. All of the employees smiled and were friendly. The wait was fair. Our burgers were delicious, but I cannot give 5 stars because of how bad the fries were. Unfortunately I didnt realize how poorly cooked the fries were until I had gotten back on the main road and had a crying toddler in the car, so I couldn't make this trip back to the store. Our fries were cooked incorrectly. They were limp, greasy, soggy and over-browned. I've eaten at 5 guys many times and the fries are my favorite so this was a big disappointment :-( . I've never been to this 5 guys location before, so I'm unsure if this was a mistake made by a newer employee or if this is an often occurence from lack of training. Check your fries...
