I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Gyro Cafe. While I had heard good things about the food, my entire experience was ruined by the presence of a dog in the dining area.
Having an animal in such close proximity to where people are eating is not only inappropriate but also raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. I couldn't stop thinking about the potential health risks—what if the dog had been shedding hair or carried germs into the area? It was utterly off-putting, and I found myself unable to enjoy my meal.
A restaurant should be a clean, safe environment for diners, and this situation felt completely unacceptable. I was shocked that the establishment would allow this and questioned their commitment to maintaining proper health standards.
I strongly urge Gyro Cafe to reconsider their policy on allowing animals inside the dining space. If this is meant to be a pet-friendly establishment, that needs to be made very clear upfront so customers can make an informed decision before visiting. I will not be returning until I see a commitment to better...
Read moreVery conflicted, I took my son to lunch there today and at first it started off great. A server came and quickly got us our drinks there was a group of 4 that came in the same time as us and they were finished with their food before ours even came out so I pulled a different server aside and asked how long it would be for our apps. Our server approached me and told me she forgot to put our order in (which I respected) I wanted the broccoli appetizer but bit into a jalapeño, the fried pickles were really spicy but because of this the server with a looney tunes mask proactively took the jalapeños off and honestly she was so caring she saved our experience. Because of her I will give this place another chance and depending on that experience update my review. I am not sure if the servers have sections or just do ups but our server seemed a bit overwhelmed and all...
Read moreJust had the worst and rudest experience at Gyro Cafe. Wanted to order 6 to meals. Waitress would not take order at table. Had to go to bar. NOT the close to cash register end but all the way to the other end to order. When asked why. That's the way we do it. This is new. Our family have been faithful customers since our children were in grade school. They all own their own business now. So after you deal with the statism and inconvenience you have to walk all the way up front again to pay. There are too many other places in town now to have to deal with poor customer service. It's so sad. We loved this place and especially the owner. Still go Taco Casa next door. Always a pleasant experience so far. We tried Taziks instead....
