Taco Casa — Restaurant in Panama City

I would give the food a 4 star(based on price and fast food style). Now if you compare the food to more authentic mexican restaurants then it isnt nowhere near as good. Just better than Taco bell and prices arent much more than there. I give it 2 stars overall because of the employees rudeness. I believe one being rude might of been a manager i think(not sure). The cashier didnt even know how to count change out or use the register. I got $15 worth of food(several tacos,sanchilada, and chips and cheese dip). They packed it all in one paper bag, literally threw the sauces in it and you couldnt even close the bag. Chips were on top with everything overflowing out the bag. I asked for an extra bag to seperate food and make easier to carry so it wouldnt fall over or out in my car. The lady looked aggrevated over me asking and when i said thank you she didnt say youre welcome or anything at all. I went in about 15 minutes b4 they close so i guess they were in a hurry to get out. Thats no excuse though. Its part of their job. A truly disappointing “Mexican Food” experience. Ordered 3 Burrito Grande, 2 hard (crunchy) and 2 soft tacos. All of the burritos were filled with more than 90% refried beans and almost No Meat. There was no Grande, just beans. If I wanted bean burritos, I would have ordered some. The “Hot Sauce” was tomato juice mixed with paste. No flavor, no heat. The hard tacos were not crunchy at all; the shells were limp and soggy from the bottom to the top! After chewing on the first limp hard taco, I couldn’t bring myself or any of my family to eat the other(pictured) and threw it away. Not making this up. The soft tacos were ok, but nothing special. Previous positive reviews tricked me into a big mistake. On a positive note, the Staff was quite friendly. I won’t be back. Really...

The staff were very friendly giving it a 1 star (plus google makes you). I had no complaints on staff other then not one worker in this establishment was wearing a mask which is its own issue of safety during COVID. THERE IS NO SAFETY FOR THE EMPLOYEES which I debated continuing to eat here. Anyhow. The food, was a waste. I should have went to the Mexican restaurant or choose somewhere else if I wanted food with good taste. Seasoning.....Where? It taste more like the paper it’s wrapped in.
