7:30AM Saturday 2/22/25 After reading the other reviews, it seems as if people are experiencing the same irresponsible weekend crew that I just experienced. After forgetting a syrup that comes in our almost identical drinks, my husband and I returned through the drive thru and requested the syrup in a cup with a stir stick, this is a common mistake because we also request an additional syrup, so baristas assume we're requesting a substitution. But we're always charged for the EXTRA syrup. When we returned, they charged us for the syrup that comes in the drink that the barista forgot. When we told the girl in the window and she told the barista, the barista began laughing in our face, as if my husband hasn'tbeen ordering this drink for over twenty years, as if i wasn't a starbucks partner for five years. (This is what prompted the review, the child responsible for making my almost $10 drinks who laughed in our grown hardworking faces) I understand these jobs are for teenagers, but they at least need to be mature. Get the drink correct and fix it if need be, because you are being paid to do so, and I'm paying almost $20 for 40 ounces of almond milk, espresso and sweeteners. Remember Store Managers: If you can't PAY someone to complete a task and be polite, it'll NEVER happen. This is why we thought the store was closed when pulled up. People around here must know to go somewhere else...
Read moreUpdating my review - It has now been just over 8 months and I have seen a significant improvement in service. There is still room for improvement. If I am redeeming my rewards I should have to try and o it three times because the first two times cashier wasn't paying attention. But overall, it is a welcome change and I enjoy my stop there each morning. After going to this Starbucks every weekday for the past 7 months I have made the decision that it just isn't worth it anymore. After 7 months (wroughly) 140 visits to the store that they would recognize me and would be able to get a simple drink (Venti, Dark Roast with lite Ice) correct. Wrong. While the staff seems friendly enough they don't care if you ever come back in or not. There is too much volume for this store to care if locals come back. Being a person that has been drinking Starbucks for 15+ years and have been a regular customer in many cities and am friends with many of the barista's that I have met throughout the years - never have I felt this unwelcome and unappreciated for being a consistent customer. Starbucks at McCarran Marketplace - continue to be who you are to the many transient guests...
Read moreWalked in about 11:30am on a Saturday. There were 4 people behind the counter, including one sweeping, and I was first of 4 customers in line. But nobody came over to take our orders for 60-90 secs. I looked at the lady at the drivethru and gave her the "what gives" sign, but she turned away. Finally my order was taken. OK, no real harm, not enuff to post a review. But I'd ordered a blended cold matcha drink but when it came there was not much liquid coming thru my straw. I took 3 or 4 sips of liquid and then took the top off the drink, and nope, not blended, and not much liquid in there either. I went back to the counter and told the barista making drinks about their error but she said- sorry, you drank some, we can't make you another. I kept complaining so she went to the young woman who'd taken my order- but that girl was persuaded by the barista not to give me a new drink. So why go to her? Really suckie service, more interested in arguing than making it right. They were dug in arguing like making me the right drink to correct their error would come out of their pockets. Very bad taste in my mouth, 0 for 2, (BAD...
