I'm giving this 2 stars, one for the waitress she was nice, one for the hotdog it was awesome. We came in and ordered a deep dish Ace's special. The waitress explained 3 times it would take an hour. We explained that we expected to wait an hour for a deep dish. We had beer and tried one hotdog in the meantime. One hour passed nothing. Hour and 15, waitress explained it was taken out of the oven and would be 5 minutes. The owner was around and talking to everyone. Never came by and said a word to us. Waited 20 more minutes and no pizza. Waitress apologized and said he put it back in the oven. At an hour and 45 pizza finally came. It was supposed to have been cooked twice and the middle was cool. The sauce was good the crust was standard chain restaurant crust. The sausage and pepperoni was skimpy at best. The amount of cheese seemed excessive. For a 30 dollar pie I was disappointed. I'm not sure who cooked it but they have no business cooking a deep dish pizza. At the very least I was hoping the owner might come and offer some explanation. We got nothing. I don't know where he is from but maybe he should actually go to Chicago and buy a slice of pie. I didn't expect Uno's or Malnatis but I expected it to be decent. Worst pizza ever. The restaurant was clean and...

If you are looking for actual deep dish Chicago pizza, this is NOT the place to go, unless you like paying Chicago prices for inferior pizza. We ordered the Aces special: peppers, onions, sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms. The waitress told us it would take an hour, which we were ok with because Chicago pizza takes 45 minutes to an hour to cook. At one hour the waitress told us our pizza was out and they would cut it in about 5 minutes. At one hour and 25 minutes the waitress told us they had to put it back in the oven because it was not cooked in the middle. At one hour and 45 minutes the pizza was finally brought to the table. It was not even hot, just warm, but it looked good on the outside....until you moved a piece. The toppings were almost non existent and there were globs of cheese everywhere. I ate through half the piece before even hitting one piece of meat. Real Chicago pizza has about 2/3rds less cheese and 2/3rds more toppings. The owner manager guy kept making rounds with other customers and made eye contact with us several times but never came over to apologize for the obvious screw up. Someone from this restaurant needs to take a trip to Chicago and have a slice of real Chicago pie, because...

I was torn on what rating to give this restaurant because the service wasexceptional in the people working there were very friendly. If it's more of a supply issue. First my wife wanted to order meatloaf and they were out. Not that big of a deal so she ordered something else. Two others in our party ordered ribs and after about 20 minutes we were notified that they were out of barbecue sauce. I would have just sent someone to the store to get barbecue sauce since there is a grocery store within walking distance. So the two of my party decided to try hot wing sauce on their ribs instead. Lol it was surprisingly good. later in our meal the waitress asked if we would like some complimentary ice cream and we said yes and then come to find out they were out of the ice cream. The waitress then asked if we would like something else like cheesecake so we all ordered cheesecake, only to find out that there was not enough cheesecake for everyone so we all ended up splitting it. The waitress they're handled it well and it was not her fault that there were not enough supplies. So I give our waitress an A+, but I give whoever orders...

2020/04/28 Motorcycle ride out from Clarksville, TN. Ace’s is a straight shot out Dover Road from Clarksville…a little more than an hour ride. Location: 5/5 Plenty of parking. Pavement. Easy off, easy on. Ambiance: 5/5 They are really living up the Chicago theme plus sports in general. Seems like it would be a pretty cool place when it is packed. Value for $$: 3/5 Not great, especially for a 12” pizza. We’ve had better at better prices. Service: 5/5 Friendly service. Hygiene: 4/5 Clean. Cuisine: 3/5 Chili cheese fries were okay. 12” all meat pizza, we won’t get again…it was more like a thin non crispy crust but not NY style either. We are planning to go back to give the Stromboli and the “stuff crust” pizza a try…I think it is their version of an authentic Chicago pizza. We’ll see. Recommend: We are going to give it another go. The staff was great. We chatted it up with a few of the regulars there, and they said the joint is a lot of fun. Overall, we recommended it.

$46.64 for a pizza and this is what I got. This is my second time visiting. First time was good, this time not so much. I’ll chalk this up to the staff being overwhelmed because there were a lot of people in there. Didn’t seem like they really knew what was going on and the young lady handing me the pizza acknowledged that pizza “looks a little crazy”. I drove an hour to get what I thought I had last time. Still left a $20 tip though. It does taste better than it looks at least.
