Emy J's Coffee Vault — Restaurant in Park Ridge

I’ve gone once a week the past three weeks. First time I left very happy - barista was super friendly and my drink was amazing. I ordered an iced white mocha with caramel & almond milk. The second time, it was a different barista who was much less friendly but thought maybe she was just tired or having an off day. I ordered the same thing but this time it was over $9, like a dollar more than before. I got an iced mocha (I ordered white mocha) with no caramel. The mocha sauce was not mixed at all and caused it to have chunks which was nasty. I went again this morning at 7 and it was the same girl, pretty dry again. I ordered an iced white mocha with almond milk once again but without the caramel in hopes that a less complicated drink would be made right. I also made sure to say WHITE mocha multiple times when ordering. I was wrong. Same as last time, I got a very poorly made mocha. If I’m paying $9 for a 20 oz drink, I expect it to be made right...

I loved Emy J’s Coffee Vault! They had delicious smoothies and baked goods, and my friends loved the coffee drinks. They also had a little thrift store area, local artists work, and conference rooms (one seemed to be hosting a book club when I was there).
