Hill House Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Parkersburg

I come to the Hill House for Bloody Marry Breakfast a lot but this was the worst experience that I've had in a long time ...you would.think that for a WVU / Marshall bar in the state of WV that they would have more then one waitress working on the WVU/Marshall Friends of Coal Bowl Game ....and the waitress was not very attentive ( we had a person join our table after we had orders the waitress walked by us 5 times and we couldn't get her attention ....when our food came I ask the late arrival if she wanted something to eat or drink and the waitress never got the hint ....when she finely stoped by again to see if we needed anything again i ask if she wanted anything to eat or drink and again the waitress just didn't...

Must have missed a sign for 21+ up place bc it’s for sure not online stating it’s a 21+ place. But never going back to this dive. Been there once and never was carded. Food was ok. So on my way home from work tonight I walk in sit at the bar. Wait five ish minutes to be even talked to. Asked for the menu and a beer. Realize I left my id at home when carded. No big deal I just drink water. Been in food service long enough to understand, no ID no alcohol, cool, great I get that. But then she proceeded to tell me since I didn’t have my id, I couldn’t even eat there.

Ok fine I won’t eat there ever again....

A true pub. Has a full menu and serves drinks and evwn has a few slot machines in the back room. I ordered the hamburger with everything. It came with jalapenos,lettuce,tomato,pickle,onion. Side of fries. It was a really good burger very tasty. Had a bud light with my meal. Very nice place had sports on the tv and everyone...
