Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Parkland

I have loved B&R since childhood and have many fond memories. But not only has your quality and service seriously dropped in recent years but now I know why! Not only do you hire grown adults and then pay them and give them hours like they're highschool students you also micro manage their scoop sizes. I wonder how many paying patrons are aware they write up and fire for not being able to make a 4 ounce scoop like like an actual scoop! If I pay you for a scoop of ice cream and your training your cashiers to charge for that scoop but scoop only half a scoop that's not only false advertising but it's ripping your customers off! Franchise or NOT I wonder if B&R corporate is aware of how bad you make them look?! I will NOT be buying from.B&R ever again and I will make sure all our neighbors know you guys give half scoops as well and fire employees with no notice after they walked to work for something as small as not being as good of a rip off artist as you want them to be! Word of mouth advertising is everything and my neighbors will know about the owners unethical business practices. Good luck with that! I hope your bankrupt by next year. Ordered through Uber eats. I’ve been going to this place for decades. Always happy with the customer service. Very nice staff. One thing I don’t like, their practices. My wife and I ordered a 2 scoop cup of ice cream and a 3 scoop sundae. When I got my 3 scoop sundae, it had the same amount of ice cream as my wife’s 2 scoop cup, that’s with the hot fudged included. She was curious and decided to weigh the two. Hers weighed 8.4 oz. While mine, in a much bigger cup, weighed 10.4oz. I payed extra for this sundae, which didn’t have whipped cream or cherries on it either, so I decided to call. The employee told me they use the kids scoop to dish sundaes. Wish I had known that before ordering. When I asked about the whipped cream, they don’t send it on Uber eats orders. As for my cherries, she just said “I’m sorry”. If I could give zero stars I would. I just ordered some smoothies, sundaes, and prepackaged ice cream. I wasn't even half way thru with my strawberry banana smoothie when I took a drink and felt something odd in my mouth. I thought hmm maybe stem to strawberry wasn't mad or upset, but than I spit it into my hands to find out was not a stem to a strawberry it was a freaking black fly. I freaked out threw it on the floor started gagging puking went brushed my teeth few times used mouth wash few times yet I still feel so disgusting & violated I can't stop crying bcuz of how upset i am I can't believe this just happened. Ran told my kids 2 stop drinking their smoothies and told them they can't have their sundaes because who knows what we'll find in those.
