Emerald City Smoothie — Restaurant in Washington

Kind of disappointed with this one. All the smoothies I usually get are mostly good but apparently the lean out is water based. Not great at all. I kept drinking it cuz they said they can’t give me a new one unless I pay for another which I understand just wish they put sum saying how it is water based. I gave it the benefit of the doubt kept drinking and then just got water, no flavor and it looked like that. If you like something more watered down with less flavor then that’s the one. The last one I got was way worse and was all mush and just water at the very bottom before even getting half way done. Apparently that’s how it’s supposed to be since they said it’s mostly water based. Just leaving a tip🤌definitely won’t be getting lean out again lol personally don’t like it.

Edit: I’m adding another thing since I’m not sure how to reply to the owner. Most of their drinks are good, it was just that one, but the service I got for the lean out the first time I wanted a new one the lady just hung up on me without letting me finish what I was gonna say and didn’t even say bye. I thought I was being nice, wasn’t trying to start anything was just unsatisfied. She did say to come in and they’ll give me another one but I wanted to clarify that I won’t have to pay and thank them but she again already ended the call. The service was not so great and the lean out, but everything else is good. like to apologize for not adjusting the stars since it’s my first time leaving a review. I’m not trying to get into an argument but just leaving my opinion. I always love this place since it’s close to me just very unsatisfied with my recent experience and wondering if it’s because I’m always there and they’re tired of seeing me and if I should stop going there. Again they said I can get a new one unless I pay for it. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be but i don’t want to pay for another drink. would be nice to know that this drink is water based and what other drinks are to help not make a wrong choosing. I will be asking if they are or not so this was a learning...

It was not the best experience. I came in with my kiddo, and Nicki minaj was music playing. We got our smoothies tasty, minus the hair that I just took out of the straw when I stopped at another store bleh..

UPDATE: THE COUNTER STAFF WAS KIND AND RESPECTFUL! The Sea Moss sample was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I can not return after the comment made by the owner.

It was not the best experience. I came in with my kiddo, and POP music playing was TOO LOUD. We got our smoothies, which were tasty, minus the HAIR that I took out of the straw, HALFWAY INTO THE SMOOTHIE. ‐---------‐---------------------------------------------------------- TO THE OWNER: That was by far the RUDEST comment I have ever received about an issue, and looking at your other responses, I can see why you have LOW stars. Your commitment to service is really showing here. YOU CONTROL THE ATMOSPHERE IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT.

FYI, the music was TOO loud, and the speaker was placed directly across from the register. I chose this as a FAMILY Friendly experience, but I'll suggest B24 over this experience anytime.

OH, and my mistake was for NOT choosing a straw that was 'wrapped,' as there was an entire container of 'unwrapped' RED straws on the counter. Which I am sure you can see after you read this update.

The HAIR was found HALFWAY into the drink! The list of issues could go on.

And if you are ALSO the manager, consider YELLING at your employees over the LOUD music when there are NO customers in the store about the OPEN sign. *

Tip: Treat your staff and customers with respect, and RESPECT will be returned.

REGARDS a paying and...

I've been here before and my smoothie was great, good customer service from a young man working. Came back and the customer service was short and felt unauthentic. I HATE to complain about young women working but out of all the emerald smoothie franchises this one threw me all the way off with the energy. My smoothie was way too watery so I went back in to kindly ask for it to be re-made. I've been getting the same smoothie for years... I know how it should be made if the recipe is followed. The other girl who didn't help me looked confused and asked when I got it and who made it. I literally had walked out the door, took a sip and came right back. The girl helping me took the drink and made it correctly without saying sorry, my bad, thank you.... nothing except the unapologetic look on her face. I see there are other comments with similar experiences..... maybe owners should share the comments? As cute as the store is and I happen to like the music they were playing, I absolutely would...
