I'm a big fan of the Happy Teriyaki chain and Teriyaki in general. This is my first less than positive review and I hope this was just my bad experience, but here goes. I ordered the chicken and beef Teriyaki combo for $17.99 and that is where things started to go wrong. The chicken teriyaki was $11.99 and the beef teriyaki was $15.99 so a chicken beef combo should have been like $15.99 or less in my mind. But it was $2 so i moved on. Like I said, I enjoy me some teriyaki. I also wanted to get a bento box originally and for some reason that was not clear to me the bento box was $23.99, but everywhere else in town a bento box has more in it and ranges between $15-21. So not doing well on price, but I was hopeful for the food itself. Now I like to order my sauce on the side because the sauce can mask the great taste of the food beneath. So when the food arrived in about 7 minutes I was excited to try it. When I picked up my food the box was noticeable lighter than most local teriyaki places. I stopped and had to double check that there was food in the bag. There was food in the bag with the normal size container. Now the container was a super nice microwavable container which is unique for teriyaki. I got to my car and opened the box. At this point I'm looking for answers as to what will this over priced light weight weight teriyaki do. First the weight. The container was indeed half empty with two scoopes of rice instead of a bed of rice with the teriyaki mounded on top with the lid pressed against the food. Now the presentation was good. There was a nice char on both the chicken and the beef. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst when i tried the food. First I tried the chicken. The chicken was tender with a noticeable char, but the general flavor was off. The chicken had a distinct won ton flavor to it. Great with a won ton,but not doing it for me with the chicken. Next i tried the beef hopeful that the beef would wow! Unfortunately besides the nice char the beef was bland with an odd won ton flavor and tough as shoe leather. This was particularly sad becuase when prepared properly with velveting and marinade the beef Teriyaki rarely needs sauce. At this point I needed some of the steamed Vegtables which yes somehow tasted like won tons again. What is happening in my mouth. The rice was the saving grace of the meal. Unfortunately this was not the standard Happy Teriyaki experience i have come to enjoy from the several other local Teriyaki joint. This particular teriyaki joint is now firmly at the bottom of the list of local teriyaki places with only one direction to go and hopefully that is up.

Food was okay....my chicken pho wasn't the best...no sprouts...no lime...and cost extra .25 for pho to go...the broth had sweetness to it...I didn't care for it...husband got hot n spicy chicken teriyaki...again...just ok. Prices were comparable to other places...about $9.95 a plate. Place look clean...I have to say the main lady...owner...manager not sure but she was very rude..talked over people...rushed people...answer phone talking when your right in,middle of ordering...no hold please...nothing...she even scolded the other waitress gal to hurry up in front of everyone...You could tell she was embarassed....i won't be back but it wasn't good or bad place in my opinion....just blah....but I will not support a business that belittles their employees in front of customers....sorry.

I never write bad reviews. Like other people have mentioned everyone has an off night. But I'm sorry, this was terrible. Just terrible. I knew from the second I opened the container of House fried rice that this was not going to be good. The rice was basically white, meaning no seasoning no flavor, not fried with a few frozen salad shrimp and peas thrown in. the portion of teriyaki chicken was extremely small. Though it did taste good even if it was a little dry. The sesame chicken was so over cooked you couldn't even swallow it and it tasted super game/gristley. The crab Rangoon smelled bad and was inedible. $80 wasted. Save your money.

I really wanted to like it as growing up I liked happy teriyaki. However. This one.... Just no. Maybe it was an off day? But my toilet and I have became great friends since getting food from here, so if you're looking for a way to lose weight, just eat the chicken. We got sweet n sour chicken, general tao, orange chicken, and teriyaki chicken. The teriyaki chicken was the only decent part of everything... but lets be real, kinda hard to mess that up. But the rest of it? No better, actually probably worse than what you get at Safeway China express.

Judging by my amount of visits to the toilet, the chicken was pretty undercooked. And what is up with cubed chicken? Literally I had pieces that were breaded and the inside of the breading had CUBED CHICKEN... with so much breading, it helped make it look like regular food. Where are they getting their chicken? This was just the general tao.

The Orange and sweet and sour chicken, it was pretty tasteless and bland. My wife has had to visit the toilet a few times as well atter eating it.

This was a delivery, done by uber eats. I doubt the delivery had anything to do with it so I'm guessing someone needs to learn how to cook, or learn how to prepare food better, or both... probably both.

Would I give this location another shot? Well... if I'm in the market to feel like I ate at taco time.. then yes, otherwise, no, not a chance.

This only got 2 stars because the order was correct and the teriyaki chicken...

I was in the mood for just stirfry vegetables. I was looking at pictures of the food that was posted as I was searching for vegetarian food. There was a picture of stirfry vegetables and rice, which is what I wanted. When I got there, I was waited on by a girl, and her name was Mariana I specifically asked if they had a dish with just stirfry vegetables. She said yes, but it does have tofu in it and I said that’s fine. I waited for my order took it home made a salad to go with it and when I opened it, it was stirfry vegetables with chicken. So I called spoke with Mariana and she said that they would exchange it so I went back up. When I went to the counter to get it, she said I double checked it and there is no meat in there and I said great. Came back home. Opened it up again and it was not stir fried vegetables, it was yakisoba. I called again and no one answered this time so I went back and said so this is yakisoba. Can I just have my money back? She apologized again, said yes, and looked at it and saw that it had noodles in it so it was yakisoba. Why didn’t she see it the first time she opened it up to check it. I don’t know, but I think it’ll be a while before I go back. The salad that I had made, and dressed was now soggy to...
