This is the second time I came here, and I was even more disappointed than the first time. The service was good, and the people working were very kind and welcoming. The food, however, was so dreadful and off-putting that I couldn't finish it all. My partner and I had 2 orders of the spring rolls, the beef pho, and 2 orders of the Vietnamese coffee with sugar. Firstly, the spring rolls were inconsistent in their size. One order was around 20% thinner than the other. The vegetables inside were fresh, but the shrimp were NOT deveined, and the noodles were dry and gritty. The peanut sauce that comes with it is pretty good, though. The beef pho had a great broth, but the noodles inside were so soft and overcooked that they broke with a fork or chopsticks. Additionally, the beef itself looked pretty horrifying and made the entire eating experience of the pho just not ideal. DO NOT order the Vietnamese coffee. My partner's order of it tasted different than mine despite being the same beverage. It was honestly kind of reminiscent of dirt. Also, the ice made up for 80% of the cup, so you aren't getting your money's worth for the drink. I paid 56 dollars, including the tip, for 3 food items and 2 drinks, which isn't too bad for the area, but I expected better quality food, especially...

I love La Ca Bar on 6th Ave. This location on this day was terrible. We walk in, and are confused about seating and ordering bc no one greeted us with direction. Ordering was awkward and felt like she didn’t know the menu herself. Then, we were the only ones seated and it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. The guy making the food reminded me of the sloths from Zootopia. Not to mention about 10 minutes for a milk tea and cider. It felt like time stood still in there. The food did not come all at once. 2 sides of rice were cold by the time they got to us. The bahn sandwich had moldy bread AND a hair all while sitting on the counter for 5 minutes getting cold. My pho was tasty yet the chicken must have come from a toy kitchen bc I kept chewing it but nothing was happening. Visually, it’s appealing, yet when I noticed the kitchen was merely a microwave and two toaster ovens I felt slightly cheated for the price. One good thing is the cold, moldy, hairy food comes in Togo containers so it’s easy to toss or take home and let it sit in your fridge for a week.

Overall, a nice place to sit and have some milk...

The grilled pork Bahn Mi was top tier 😮‍💨 everything was fresh & the toasted bun added the extra crunch to it. The flavors mixed well together as well.

The Egg spring roll is my favorite out of the shrimp & other spring roll. The shrimp spring roll & other ones aren’t the best choices. The sweet chilli sauce that they pair with the spring roll is amazing! The peanut butter sauce is alright. Prefer the sweet chilli sauce. The vermicelli chicken bowl is pretty good as well.

The food here is good it depends on the person that is working who does your food. I have my favorite worker there that does my food & she put the love in there. I sometimes come with hopes she’s working but nope. I take my chances with other workers & they just messes everything up. They just throw everything in one bunch or doesn’t cook our rice noodles properly. Everything was hard + the bahn mi was filled with chicken & little veggies.

On the other hand the restaurant its self is beautiful ! Perfect for dine in & relax & chill.

I’ll say take this with a grain of salt & hope you get the best experience...

I tried this place because of a Facebook ad for buy one get one free banh mis and fresh rolls, but decided to try a bowl of pho too. For two fresh rolls, one small bowl of pho, and a banh mi it cost me around $40. The food takes a while to come out, regardless of the fact that most everything is previously prepped and then put together once you order. The fresh rolls and peanut sauce were really good, chicken banh mi wasn’t bad, but the beef pho was just okay. The broth and steak were good, but the bean sprouts on the side were slimy and rancid, and the brisket tasted old and reheated. Also, the pho bowl was pretty small and it costs $15. I did not get full from it. I tried the hot earl grey tea latte which was good, just earl grey tea with steamed milk and vanilla. I also do not like the order, pay, and tip upfront style. Bathrooms and atmosphere were nice and clean. Overall, the quality of the food items was a bit inconsistent, the service was inefficient, and most menu items are overpriced.

I was looking forward to eating here. The gentleman that greated us was kind and respectful. We placed an order for takeout. We asked how long it would take for our order. We were told about 13 minutes. I ordered a Báhn mi, two orders of the chicken wings, two orders of the fresh spring roll. Our order was placed at 1641. We left at 1728. I watched the young lady that was prepping our food. Stop eat her food. That was ok (I'm trying to be kind). She talked with the young man that brought her food. She made a few of the items on my order but would stop talk to the young man, drink her soda, chat. She washed her hand once after coming back from break. She would leave again out the back door and I could hear her tell him two more minutes, etc. She gloved up but I did not see her wash her hands again after she left out the back door. I was also disappointed with the food. The Bahn mi was the best part of the whole meal.
