I circled back to this gem after moving out of the area. I recently opened a business that brought me back to the neighbourhood. As a kid/teenager my grandmother and mom took me here. Out of the thousand of Italian hoagies I’ve had, from dozens of different places I always remembered how great Ro Lynn’s Italians were. When I came back to the area I had to have another to see if it was just nostalgia. Upon my first bite I was certain that they should be in every conversation about the areas top tier sandwich shops. Since then I have tried and celebrated nearly their entire menu of house created sandwiches and will tell anyone who will listen to give Ro Lynns a try. A bonus for me is walking in and seeing Steve still behind counter. My grandmother would make my mom bring her to Ro Lynns for cold cuts and I was always in toe, a chubby little guy hoping for a fresh slice of salami from the slicer. I only had my first 7 years with my grandmother. I doubt that Steve would remember a feisty older woman with a cane that would playfully give him the middle finger. Seeing that a familiar face from that time of my life(early 1990’s)is added bonus. Keep up the good...
Read morePicked up some Godfathers before the Eagles game Yesterday. I had been a regular before moving out of area '08. Yesterday 1st time back. Outstanding!! 1st the Liscios bread always a winner. All the ingredients were absolutely fresh, meats sliced perfectly and incredible taste and texture. Sharp provolone was also sliced just right. Perfect bite to compliment the meats and Tomatoes, lettuce, and diced onions. Some like thin sliced onion...me I want a bigger bite of it. The smell of the place alone is a tribute to throwback Italian cold cut joints all over the Delaware Valley. HIGHLY recommend this great institution. Bravo Ro-Lynn 👏 Be back soon
P.S. Bring a cooler or hot cold bags to take home all of the authentic Italian/American cuisine. Fresh and frozen meals for the home. A boatload of Cento products and so much more. Sorry no photos I was in a hurry to make...
Read moreEvery few months I take a trek down to Ro-Lynn deli to get some Godfather Hoagies, chicken cutlet sandwiches, TRULY aged SHARP provolone like none I can find ANYWHERE up in Bucks or Montgomery county and any number of other absolutely delicious, flavorful meals they are offering. If anyone should be known for having the "Best Hoagie in Philly - AND surrounding areas" it's Ro-Lynn deli. The owners take incredible pride in their work - and they pay attention to their recipes, offer generous portions that are often double the size you find at any other deli. RoLynn Deli is my FAVORITE place to get hoagies, cheese steaks, meatballs, imported cheeses... cento Hot peppers (I'm a picky pickled pepper eater), antipasto and macaroni salads. Damn. My mouth is watering. I really need to plan another trek...
