Review 2: Waste of money. Frozen veggies.
It cannot get worse than this. They lost my business. We spent over a $100 and not a single thing here was good. What made it worse was I chose this place for my birthday dinner.
Vada Pav: Pav was dry cold and not toasted like it was left outside for days. Vada was flavorless.
Pav Bhaji dosa: Potato filling inside no Pav Bhaji taste at all. Sambar and chutney given was better than the dosa.
Chilly cheese toast: Burnt toast and cheese. Felt like we ate plastic instead of cheese.
Chilly garlic noodles: No garlic, no chilly, not spicy, extremely dry, no salt.
Veg Jaipuri and Veg Kohlapuri Puree was made with Frozen bag of veggies from Walmart. Vegetables were raw.
After complaining they took it back to cook it. When it arrived it was no different from what they served earlier.
Both curries tasted exactly the same. These shameless people get frozen veggies from Walmart and serve it with some puree as curry. They charge you $14 for this!
The chef is so lazy to chop some vegetables when they have a full fledged kitchen. At the least they can cook the frozen veggies before serving to customers. Who hires these people calling themselves as chefs. Disgusting.
I can buy some curry paste at the Indian store and frozen veggies at Walmart and it will cost me under $8. At least vegetables will be cooked and it will taste better.
Will never set foot in any honest location ever again.
I feel bad for the kids working here. They have to face the brunt of poor quality food made by the cooks. The owner needs to take some serious decisions if they wish to stay in business.
Review 1: Initially the food was excellent. Of late the taste has gone down. Also there is a garbage smell upon entering. The place looks clean though. Vada Pav was not hot. The Katappa sandwich was very dry and mostly bread and potato and arrived without cheese. After complaining they remade it with cheese but it was so cold that cheese had not even melted. The Dabangg dosa was very bland with raw veggies. Thali is excellent but avoid the naan at this place. It felt like having an over dose of baking soda bread. Schezwan noodles used to be the best dish here but spicy but had no flavor this time. I hope they bring back the taste and keep up the consistency in recipe and flavor even when their chefs change. Management is responsive to feedback which a...

Read moreOverwhelmed staff and chaotic check in. Long line to get in but no one knows how to get the guests seated. Seated after 30 minutes at 8:30 pm. Paani puri is a snack and supposed to be an appetizer (the servers must know this) but was served after several reminders and after entrees were already eaten. However it was flavorless and half broken and with no concept of chutneys. Save your money. Why put something on the menu when you do not know how to do it. Other dishes were Hakka noodles, papri chaat, dabeli, vada paav, chana bhatura, gobi munchurian, lassi, chaas, masala soda. However none was flavorful. After eating everything, still kept waiting for dabeli and kept asking the manager about it and were told, “if it is ordered, it will come”. It was 9:45 already which was one hour and 15 minutes after we were first seated. Asked the server to just bring the check and cancel dabeli or just get it packed. No response or accountability or apology and on the contrary, manager asked us to try some other dishes next time we come. Clearly he needs to learn a thing or two about this industry if he wants to run a successful venture. Dabeli was finally served and did not change our opinion about the food. Since it took more than an hour to get dabeli served to us, they might have prepared the stuffing again. But actually it left a bad taste because they could have have just let us know the truth. May be we ordered the wrong items. However if they have a big menu and can only do 1-3 items right, then they should rethink the menu and only serve the food that they can do best. However so far, the food and the service was very disappointing. Not worth...
