This library branch building dates back to 1963 and boasts what was then considered to be a cutting-edge look: a circular, windowless brick base that's literally crowned by an angular roof that lets in natural light through zig-zagged openings.
Inside, the layout reflects the buidling's unique shape, with most everything out in the open, whether computer terminals, staff desks, study desks, or shelves that are arranged in radiating fashion from the center. There are meeting and study rooms on the perimeter of the building.

The reason for the review is because I took a phone call in entryway (outside the sliding doors, so mostly already outside) and was quickly approached by a worker to move because they could hear me.
