Osaka Parma — Restaurant in Parma Heights

I ordered the steak hibachi at 6:30pm. I was hoping for filet or a similar tender cut of steak but I think it's skirt steak. A bit too fatty for me personally but it wasn't tough & there's a lot of it. The rice was a bit dry (I thought they forgot my rice but its under the steak). The yum yum sauce didn't taste like any other I have tried, had a strange flavor to it so I ended up making my own once I got home. The overall amount of food you get for $12 is good - enough for 3 meals for me. If yum yum sauce is the reason you get hibachi (like me), I'd pass on this place or use your own. Next time, I'll come for the lunch special, instead. You can eat your takeout there, they have 2 small tables with 4 chairs at each. It doesn't look like they serve you here. I'm giving this place 5 stars partially because of these crazy 1 star reviews complaining their yum-yum sauce isn't good. It isn't, that much is true, but is that really a reason to give poor reviews? Or simply saying "it's very bad, poo-poo". Come on, the place is new and it's not perfect but I thought the food was very good and will be back.

The hibachi is very good and it is loaded with chicken and not as many vegetables, so we order an extra side of veggies for a couple bucks and get more meals out of leftovers. Just happened to be visiting in Parma Heights and always driven by without stopping in. So in the mood for Asian and passed up other Chinese restaurants decided to give this a try. On the phone they’re friendly and even in person. So I decided to get Hibachi steak and the flavor was very delicious. I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations of just the normal Chinese food. I was wrong and wished I visited sooner. I definitely will go back for Spicy Beef 🌶️ 🥩 🍜 Soup.
