Pounders Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Parma Heights

The service is hit it miss since had some really good times and some really terrible times. Tonight was in if the latter, from the moment I walked in the service was poor at best.

Don't get me wing they were moderately busy it was 59¢ went Thursday. That doesn't excuse the table that I watched walk in sit down and wait for at least 25 minutes before the guy went up to the bar and asked for them to be served.

There were many things wrong with this visit from a customer service perspective, not to mention good business practices. The bartenders barely spent three seconds at our end of the bar, didn't offer me a menu I had to ask for one. They also didn't listen when I specifically said no straws in my drink both times. Guess how many straws I had for my two drinks, four that's right four us the acceptable level of straws when the customer asks for no straws twice.

This place sucks big-time. I tried calling them to book a party and I was told the party room was available that I would be called back by someone that evening and I was never called back. I called the next day and was told I’d be called after 3 o’clock And a friend told me they don’t ever call back that I needed to call there again so I did and they hung up on me. Then every time I called the line was busy. They took the phone off the hook. I waited a while and tried several times to call back, but they would not answer the phone , whoever the owner is here? You need to fire your staff and get new people because these people just cost you hundreds of dollars in business with a 25 person party we’re taking our business elsewhere. We will never try to frequent this Place again. I should’ve looked at your reviews before I tried to book a party because your reviews leave much to be desired people stating how they come in and no one will wait on them and they end up walking out. We went looking for a new "burger and a beer" spot. My husband found Pounders in an Internet search and we decided to give it a try. We've been several times now and have yet to be disappointed. They have an impressive rotating tap list - my requirement - and "normal" beer on tap for my husband. Wings in more flavors than you can imagine, tasty and interesting burgers, good daily specials, and great fries. That's what we've tried so far.

Prices are readonable. Service is friendly and quick. It can be spotty at tables when the bar is full, but, hey, it's a bar! We prefer to get there on the earlier end of the day as it tends to be a bit quieter. If you're looking for a bit of chaos - trivia, karaoke, ladies' night - there are regular activities scheduled.
