This was my first visit to this restaurant and I regret choosing that restaurant now for dining.
It seems this restaurant is run by a couple (no employees) only. Usually every desi restaurant gives water beforehand only but here neither water is served nor asked.
While eating, my child asked water so I looked at the order counter and no one was there so I called them but no one showed up so I waited considering that couple is busy making food for other orders.
Our Naan was finished so again called them for more Naan but same story, no one showed up. We had returned from long vacation and straightly headed to this restaurant and were really hungry so I couldn't wait anymore instead I approached to the counter and asked for water and Naan. Naan was served after couple of mins so we had to wait in between. That ruined our dinner.
Service was pathetic but it is not yet over. They asked me to pay gratuity in the form of service charge for a family of 4 which was really strange. In fact they forced me to pay that amount without any hesitation stressing firmly tip is different than this one. I felt their mindset is more money oriented than customer satisfaction or experience.
I did self service to myself approaching them and telling what I need but paid service charge to them. This was so weird and insane.
I will never go to this restaurant again and will not...
Read moreDelhi Delight is a cozy restaurant that serves some fantastic Punjabi food. I recently tried their Delhi special dal makhani and paneer bhurji, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.
The dal makhani was cooked to perfection, with a creamy and rich texture that just melted in my mouth. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the dish had a lovely smoky flavor, which made it stand out. The portion size was also quite generous, and it was served with fluffy naan bread, which was a perfect accompaniment.
The paneer bhurji was another hit. The paneer was soft and crumbly, and the dish had a delightful blend of flavors, thanks to the use of fresh onions, tomatoes, and spices. The dish was bursting with flavors and had a slightly spicy kick that made it all the more enjoyable.
Overall, I had a great experience at Delhi Delight, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some authentic Punjabi food. The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. I would definitely visit this restaurant again for some more of their...
Read moreThe most delicious food made with a passion!!
Delhi Delight recently opened and I heard about the great food at this restaurant through my friend. I decided to try it and ordered four different dishes (Palak Paneer, Navratan Kurma, Butter Chicken and Kadhai Chicken) during my dine-in visit. Let me be the first to say, this is the first time in a U.S. Indian restaurant that I found all four dishes to have different and delicious flavor profiles! The restaurant owner, Mr. Charanjeet Singh is knowledgeable and passionate about the dishes he makes. He came to meet us personally and we had a great discussion about the flavor and quality of the food. The price is also reasonable in comparison with other Indian restaurants in Morris County.
Thank you Mr. Singh for the amazing meal! I wish you all the best and we will definitely be back for your...
