Burger King — Restaurant in Pasadena

Burger King may not be the first name that pops in your head when you think "elevated fine dining experience", but it delivers where it counts: a delicious fast food meal. I don't know if it was because it was my first meal of the day, at 3pm, no less, or because the person in charge of the deep fryer was doing an excellent job that day (Sunday afternoon) but the French fries in particular came out excellent. The burgers themselves are also great but this has always been a trademark of this franchise. The location itself is in a corner. Parking is great and it makes it super convenient to go via the drive thru and as you exit, you can just make a right and get right back on the street heading north. 10/10 customer service from the dude in the drive thru. Typical Burger King menu but this one seems pretty old. I only went through the drive-thru which didn't have any potholes or obstacles. The speaker worked well but the person taking the order sounded like they would rather be watching paint peel off a wall. It was easy enough to order the food off the standard menu and the wait time wasn't bad at the window. We did have to ask for an additional bag because the food was so greasy it was leaking through the bag all over. And yes the hash browns and french toast and french fries that we ordered were fried into oblivion. So not all that fresh and seem to be over fried. The impossible Whopper was good but to make it vegan you do have to remove the sauce and cheese. The bun for the Whopper though seems to be a little undercooked or something. Just a...

Had the Rodeo Crispy Chicken with small fries and a small drink. The chicken was not crispy at all and it was undercooked. I mean how can you serve chicken like that, common man. The fries was ok, but forgettable. The facility is dirty and not properly maintained. I mean I think Burger King is trying to hard to be like McDonald's and or Chick-a-fillet because the service doesn't even come close. The lady taking my order looked like she had a bad week and it's only Monday. The quality has just been downhill from years past. I use to remember when they served crispy chicken sandwich and it was the bomb. This location suck and I expected more because it was on a nicer Pasadena neighborhood.
