Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with the owner. We were so excited to try this place out as my husband and I recently have been enjoying vegan food. My husband ordered the Briyani, which he enjoyed, and I ordered the Spicy Ramen (mild). I’ve ordered that kind of ramen before (other places) and this one had no spice nor flavor to it. It was VERY bland. I was shocked but also wasn’t enjoying it at all, after only 3 bites. I called to ask if they may have give me the wrong soup, but they said that’s how it always tastes. They offered to replace my ramen as long as I brought it back. I was back at the restaurant in 10 mins and the owner/“head chef” came out to talk to us and he refused to replace my meal. He was extremely rude (caused an awkward altercation with 6 other customers in the restaurant) saying he has never had anyone return a dish before, nor has he ever ever heard of anyone doing that to a restaurant. I was shocked only because I’ve managed several restaurants/kitchens before, and I know how many times dishes get returned back to the kitchen DAILY. He was being extremely rude, didn’t want to speak to a woman, and was rudely giving me his back and interrupting any time I tried to speak. After a few mins, I knew the kind of individual this was and it wasn’t going to be worth my energy. I politely asked for a refund (at that point I didn’t trust him preparing any other dish for me lol) and ensured him this is not the outcome we desired. I simply wanted to enjoy my $21 meal (I also ordered a Thai Tea), so I was happy even ordering something cheaper than what I had originally paid. But unfortunately the owner was so rude & disrespectful, that we were over it. We asked for the refund and to our surprise, they did (only for my dish, we weren’t asking for a full refund). We won’t ever go there again. Not because the food was bad, but merely because of the attitude of the owner. We don’t want to support a business where the owner is rude to his customers and claims he doesn’t want to speak to women. And lastly, they gave us our meal in a USED Trader Joe’s bag!! 🤦🏽♀️ Thumbs...
Read moreThis is the bomb!! I had the vegetarian fried rice with fried tofu.,Amazing! Something in the sauce makes this dish sing! I usually order postmates but my daughter and I were close by and I asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said," noodles, plain noodles, can I have noodles only for lunch!?" So,we had to stop in,right!? The food was amazing as usual. Except for a small misstep,I order the same, everytime because of health restrictions and the lady behind the counter didn't hear the "fried" part of fried tofu,so I had to come back for remake of tofu. It was graciously accepted back for a remake. The only tiny situation that almost made me take a star away, was the tiny bit of unnecessary comment said by the lady," You must remember that you have to say fried,if you want fried otherwise it's all steamed." Kind of condescending but she was still quite friendly with great customer service. I told her,I usually order postmates and it's right, maybe you just didn't hear me." I usually don't like saying this in my reviews but I've been in the food industry for 30yrs as a server and trainer of servers, up to a Le Cordon Bleu chef that mentors chefs. I know what I ordered. But as stated, they were friendly, efficient and good customer service with DELICIOUS FOOD. And remember,if fried tofu is 1$ more than steamed, make that extra dollar. Upsale,we'd appreciate it,especially if you didn't hear me say fried. Can't be lazy in a restaurant. But I will be back, probably in 2days. They offered to remake for free but I paid for it anyways in support of businesses during this time. I suggest you work your way around the menu and try it...

ITEM'S ORDERED:
Yellow Curry RIPP (Rest in Peace Porky)
TASTE:
The RIPP comes with broccoli, baby carrots & cole slaw. The "meat" is really aromatic & flavorful. Pretty sweet flavor with savory to balance it out. I ate it with Sriracha which I think it needs. Has a really good, dense meaty chew to it. It's one of those flavors & textures you can just keep on eating. In some ways it's almost too flavorful as I kept thinking it would work well with rice.
I'm surprised I actually liked the coleslaw much more than I would. Maybe it's because it's vegan mayo (not as heavy/thick) or the seasoning, it was tasty but maybe just a little bit sweet towards the end. The side of steamed broccoli & baby carrots were just to basic for me. For some reason the broccoli was actually (fridge) cold.
Yellow curry is a solid curry dish. It's a very deep tumeric heavy, savory, little sweet flavor that works well with the noodles. Very minimal spice as I've found with other yellow curry. I do wish the noodles were more al dente.
SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:
Postmates order so no real comments on service.
Food was very fresh though & did not have to reheat the curry. Everything was packaged well & securely.
They are located in a strip mall with its own parking lot. They are pretty much right across the street from the very popular Lucky Boy.
Food overall was good & I'd like to check the place out for dine in service in the...
